Hi there,
I’m a 47-year-old married man, a dad of three, and someone who has built a good, stable life. I have an interesting career, a few hobbies I’m passionate about, and spend a lot of my free time with my kids. I love being outdoors, read quite a bit, enjoy cooking, and have a soft spot for classical music. I’m also into electronic music, because apparently my playlists refuse to pick a side.
Life is full in many ways, but there’s a part of it that feels like it’s missing something. I imagine some of you understand that feeling.
I’m hoping to meet a woman who’s looking for more than a fleeting conversation or a bit of excitement that disappears after a few days. I’d love to build something genuine, warm, and ongoing with someone, a connection that grows naturally, with good conversation, laughter, affection, and the anticipation of seeing each other when the time is right. Ideally, something long-term, with the willingness and ability to eventually meet in person.
I suspect we might have something in common if your marriage is still there in name and in the day-to-day logistics, but the closeness, intimacy, and connection have faded. Perhaps you’re in a dead bedroom, or something close to one. Maybe you still care about your spouse, but the relationship itself no longer gives you everything you need.
I’m not looking to judge anyone’s circumstances or pretend that life is simple. I’m looking for someone who understands the complicated reality of being married and still feeling a little lonely. Someone who could use a person in her corner, and who would enjoy being that person for someone else, too.
I think there’s something meaningful about finding someone with whom you can be honest, feel wanted, share the little details of your day, and offer each other some of the warmth and attention that might be missing elsewhere.
Your age doesn't matter to me, just be mature, respectful, and able to connect throughout the day, evening, and on weekends (with the usual understandings). You should be in Southern Ontario, but Southwestern Ontario is even better. Within an hour or two of London would be ideal.
If you’re thoughtful, kind, curious, and looking for a connection with some substance to it, I’d love to hear from you. Tell me a little about yourself, what your world looks like, or even just what’s been on your mind lately.
No pressure to have the perfect opening line. Sometimes the best connections start with a simple hello.
