Changing up the protein has always been a thing on the boxes. Always on the back, but around 2009 or 2010 is the first time I remember them adding it on the front.

I use ground turkey or chicken a lot. Always cheaper to buy chicken breast and grind it than grinding any beef.

If we enter a great depression, you won't be buying easy foods like Hamburger Helper. Not at $1.50 a box. It is handy but the markup is insane compared to home made.

Are we forgetting what happened in 2008 in this example?

In the first years of my marriage (1988 on), I would make Tuna Helper and Hamburger Helper hash. Dee-licious!!

Ah yes try it with a level 1 carcinogen instead of ground beef. Try smoking a cigarette after eating for extra nutrients

This is really funny but it also really shows the difference between old poor and new poor

No one is going to have a good time but at least old poor already know how to play the game

Bruh great depression.. 😆😆 RELAX Susan..

Trust me tough times are ahead certainly and it's gonna be a huge bump in our lifetime but society is out here acting like OUR generation is gonna go through anything in terms of actual great depression..

" Oh I can't put ground beef in my hamburger helper because I want Starbucks, weed and nonsense all the time" -almost everyone in Canada

Give me a break the ones actually struggling to buy ground beef to put in a pot of hamburger helper because life is too expensive are far and few between. We just want everything and all of it at once..

We can all Fuck off

They are not, in fact, few and far between.
