Did you know- an estimated 50,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with a cancer caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) every year. Nearly half of these (46%) are cervical cancer, almost all of which is caused by HPV.

I got mine in 2015, on the base of my tongue. Being a guy, the virus couldn't find a cervix, I guess. Chemotherapy and radiation cured it, and while it wasn't fun having a feeding tube and port? No surgery to remove my tongue made the sheer exhaustion tolerable.
Port= surgical implant of a pump into my chest to have a keep vein open for all the iv fluids and poisons of chemotherapy.

There's a vaccine for HPV. If you haven't had it, get it.
