That depends.
If w other people None or Silent
If angry at my computer for the 100th time then 9. Summon a demon.

Usually shout, then destroy stuff. Depends on how badly I'm doing..though tbh the destruction is not usually on purpose, it just kind of happens. I mean, i thought a roll of electrical tape wouldn't have been heavy enough to put a hole in the door.

See, when I get annoyed, I get snarky and start throwing one-liners around like I’m starring in a ‘90s sitcom. But on the rare occasions that I get genuinely angry, people (later) joke that they felt the temperature drop.

Same, it allows me time to think about how to address whatever is bothering me. May also choose option 1 from time to time for the same reason. I've personally found the other options ineffective in the long run.

1,2,3, and 6. I can usually contain it to 1&2 though. People think I’m a pushover, but really I’m just trying not to catch a felony.
2
u/Moveyourbloominass 17h ago
Sprinkle in some menopausal rage, it is truly a battle not to catch a felony. My friend Maryjane and solitaire keep me out of jail.

Laugh and walk away
People start saying ridiculous things to me and I start laughing so they think it's a sign of guilt like I'm some supervillain when there's nothing you say to calm them down etc
Then I tend to say "fuck off" once I've had enough of their bs inability to listen and walk away
Oh, and then murder

Been working on being more 1 and 2.
Been at 6 for years, and it leaves me feeling absolutely awful when I finally calm down from it :(
I'd much rather just go quiet, and walk away from the source so I can cool down, than scream and shout.

You have to look for that pause between acknowledging your anger and the action(shouting). Noticing the pause will you give you pause to allow yourself to take a breath

Silent to a point. When that point is reached, Walk Away. If while walking away the other person is still chirping, Shout.

Those are more of just phases or situationally different except laughter. I don’t angry laugh. Like walk away and silent is the same and this would be if I got cheated on or something like that or if a friend betrays me. I would just leave. Destroy stuff is when I’m unbearably and unfairly being pushed well past my limits and I have no way to get out of the situation and it’s being done to me by a family member. This is after trying every coping method, every mediation effort I know. This is after I’ve apologized and am just trying to make the argument stop, even if I’m not in the wrong. It feels like my insides are going to burst. Like my veins are going to split open. Crying is frustration when I’m being disciplined for something I had nothing to do with or being shit on by another persons mistake but I have to deal with the consequences. Shout is when I continue to be interrupted which happens A LOT. I have the majority of breaking stuff and yelling under control I haven’t broken anything that wasn’t mine in a very long time. But I will tear up papers or something when I’m alone because the energy has to leave or it causes bigger issues for my heart.

Depends, if its my POS Chevy Cruze, 3, its got a dent in the fender, idk how that happened, I just know I was vary angry with it, Did a timing chain, oil pan gasket, so it suddenly loosing coolant and hard starts like a month later, blows a head gasket, I kicked the fender, Had to rip everything I did apart basically to replace the head gasket.
Most of the time its 1 or 2.

1 or 2, after that, 5.. but with 5, the one i’m angry with should start being afraid. Very afraid.

It varies depending on who/what I’m angry with. Angry with my boss? 1 and 2. Angry at traffic? 6. Angry at life? 3 and 5.

u/Angry_GorillaBS 18h ago
Can be any except for 4 depending on the situation l. 2 and 5 likely being the worst for whoever I'm mad at. But it doesn't happen all that much these days.

Normally 1 and 2. If it’s bad, 4 and 5. I’ve never done 3 though I’ve thought to many times, and probably ever done 6 once.

- 4. and 1. in that order LOLLL, it's an odd mix. (I try to walk away before I cry but usually the other person won't let me just disappear like that. 😭) Gosh this question reminds me of a shitty conversation I had last year.

I wake up at 5:00 to work at a factory making 650€ per month, need a new car but bank refuses a loan.
I’m so fucking happy rn.
I live in the countryside, work hard but bank apparently thinks I need to walk 5 hours each way

Walk away. If applicable I write a nasty comment to Ethicspoint explaining why the department is a mess.

1, 2, or an option not even listed…which is calmly communicate my frustrations with involved party, and find resolution.
From the post and comments, I fear for the state of emotional maturity across the board.

u/PeenInVeen 16h ago
Typically 2. I like to think I'm really chill, but if someone repeatedly doesn't listen to me, aka kids, and I have to ask the same thing more than 3 times, then I start shouting.

Usually silent or walk away. I don't do well with confrontation so I tend to shut down and avoid. It isn't until I calm down that I can actually deal with it all

u/MiExperienciaFueQue 15h ago
1- Talk, talk, talk, talk
2- Cry, shout, cry, shout, shout, shout
3- Silent, cry, silent
4- Laugh at the audacity while waiting one last time for a turn around
5- Silently walk away
6- Destroy anything (possible) that reminds me of the pain
7- Move on while laughing and healing which includes crying (mourning and detoxification)

I used to be a shouter and a crier. As I’ve gotten older, I’m none of these options.
Deep breaths. Communication. Take a break for everyone to cool down if need be. If the other party isn’t willing to be reasonable, shut it down and refuse to engage.

Depends on who im angry at.
If its like my boss or someone disrespecting me who has no business doing that,I get livid. If its someone I love then it.. also depends why obviously but its often cry or silent (until I process my emotions)

Walk away silently then mentally plot bad things like killing you, hurting you or coming back in damaging ways until I let go. After that I forget you exist, forgive while trying to understand your reasons then move on or approach you later to solve the matter when I'm calm.
