I’m seeking a late-night gaming friend to help me finish some games left unfinished after a recent friendship ending.

I have a few games that I began with my best friend before the friendship recently ended, and I would love to find someone to finish them with--one of them is a game we played together that I was streaming. I understand this is a very odd request, but I have a graveyard of unfinished co-op games and such that are just staring at me. If we click, I would be open to playing new co-op games together, too.

Howdy! Since I levelled up a whole year, I decided to make a new post - sorta.. I don't see a lot of the people I currently play with much due to odd timing, or the fact that they have too much going on with work and family life. I don't really have that problem - I can play during the day sometimes and in the evenings, so it would suit those on EU and US east times.

I grew up mostly playing FPS and arcade style games (as was the style at the time) but I've been enjoying ESO, Enshrouded, Windrose, Diablo and BG3 - games I thought I would never be into that deviate from my usual gears, halos, borderlands etc which I still play inc BF6 so a bit of choice I guess.

I'm not a minecraft, valorant, overwatch, pokemon person, it's just never interested me.

I'm not looking for love or to join your massive DC server where no one talks or branches out to meet new people, nor am I interested in those that can't communicate, manage friendships or take care of basic timekeeping - you would think this wouldn't have to be said out loud, but here we are... I'm a regular guy with an interesting past, my life isn't consumed by politics and performative outrage, but I'm willing to have conversations on just about anything as well as a healthy amount of dark gameplay banter. Anyone age over 18, male or female is fine.

I have been long waiting for a WoW:Forever announcement and just saw it be announced at Blizzcon, so I'm excited about a game for the first time in a long time! In the past I was more of a competitive gamer, playing games like CS, Quake, Dota, and LoL, but I also played WoW from about 2005 - 2012.

I will be a lot more casual than I once was, probably playing a couple hours a night and a bit more on the weekend, and probably a lot more early on upon release. I will likely be playing Alliance and what I find most fun is probably world pvp and arena. I would be doing some dungeons and maybe easy 10 man raids that are brief, but I'm not much for raiding. I mostly played rogue because I liked stealthing into the enemy cities like Ironforge when I played horde and troll people / be silly. I didn't like ruining people's day or anything mean, but maybe something close to it. Like when I discovered with my friends that you could travel to Ironforge, queue your group for an arena game, and after the match your whole group would be summoned to Ironforge and be KoS and stuck there if your hearthstone was down.

I also really liked subtle ragebait trolling chat, which really can't be done anymore because people are aware of what a troll is, but it was very entertaining to me back then. I guess I was my server's troll, and if I talked in chat it would usually cause a stir, though a lot of people would giggle along with me in whispers.

Back then I liked playing competitively but I hated the toxicity of other competitive players. They were almost all pretty annoying, so I opted to mostly just play with my friends who were all casual players. It is still the case that I really only want to play with people who aren't super tryhard types. I was pretty good, maybe 2400-2500 elo in arena if I remember correctly, but how good at the game other people are makes no difference to me.

I play on PlayStation and looking for gamers who want to co op games with me? Then maybe we could do any co op games you were looking to play!

I am in search for pleasant human beings with relaxed demeanor interested in semi- or infrequent, but never too serious, pixel-related coop-activity.

I myself am an academically inclined mellow fellow; by day protest-camping in front the ivory towers of contemporary academia, juggling dozens of word documents, pdf articles, and wonder-pondering about strange things and peculiar stuff. Sometime during the late afternoon/early evening, the nerd-in-me takes over and I switch from my work laptop to the gaming one.

While solo adventures can have their own allure, the most fun I have had in front of the screen included some form of coop-activity. Presently and unfortunately, the coop-opportunities have been few and far between, and I am tentatively exploring this textual space for a remedy.

I do NOT mind losing, failing, getting lost, mistakes, dying, etc. -- internet pixels are never important enough to get angry over. A small dose of frustration every now and then is probably fine and won't hurt the fun, especially if it is to make the eventual success taste that much better.

I am currently working as an IT technician, which basically involves a lot of broken or faulty computers being put on my desk until I fix them and ship them back off again. As you can imagine, I'm a massive techie, so anything involving computers or machines can draw my attention quite quickly!

My main hobbies include gaming, reading and listening to music. In terms of games, I typically enjoy most genres, but my favourite series include; Resident Evil, Persona, Warcraft, Devil May Cry, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon and Fire Emblem. I have a PS4, Switch and a gaming PC, so I'm spread around the different platforms a lot. The games I'm currently playing are World of Warcraft, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Diablo 2, Borderlands 3 and Pokemon Leaf Green.

I like a variety of TV shows such as It's Always Sunny, The Thick of It, The IT Crowd, Trailer Park Boys, Curb your Enthusiasm, Fallout, Rick and Morty and Seinfeld. I'm also a big fan of anime shows including One Punch Man, Dragon Ball Z (and Super), Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop and more!

Book wise, I'm usually drawn to fiction, typically Fantasy or Sci-fi. My favourite book series are The Malazan Book of the Fallen, Discworld, The Dresden Files and The Lord of the Rings. In terms of music I'm a big fan of Metal and Industrial music, with Iron Maiden and KMFDM being my favourite bands. I can play the guitar, but haven't kept in practice for a few years now, so I'm pretty rusty. I've been thinking of learning to play piano at some point this year too!

Here's my situation: years of buying co-op games "for when I have someone to play with", zero someones. Valheim, V Rising, Grounded 2, Deep Rock Galactic, BF6, Palworld, It Takes Two, For The King II, Phasmophobia etc., all sitting there, judging me. I'd love one or two regular people (25+, please) to start a fresh journey with and actually see it through, boss by boss, instead of the usual play-twice-then-ghost cycle.
