Has this ever worked for anyone?

I got a few accountability buddies from this very sub before. And this is a new account so you won't see my name but basically what would happen would be, im very motivated at first. I send the other person messages everyday and after I send it they would ask me if I DID it. Like i wouldn't be checking in if I didn't do. Then nothing.

It felt like I was being taken advantage of because they would never text ME first. So after a week of me always being the first one to text I would not send them a message and sure enough, they never got in touch with me. After a week of not getting in touch with me they would send me a message asking if I been doing my stuff and of course I wouldn't respond.

Cuz at that point, wtf are we doing. You're just wasting my time. And ive meet so many people and its ALWAYS the same result. I just told someone "you might as well pay for it" cuz honestly I feel like I should be getting paid! No ones HELPING ME!!! Its suppose to be back and forth and yet im the only one doing the helping. No ones checking in on me. No one thinks of me until they start missing my free service.

"Be the change you wanna see" ppl got me heated cuz I AM!!! They are the problem!!! I aint helping no one for free when we agreed to keep EACH OTHER accountable and it always ends up with me being the parent and them being a little kid about whatever goal they wanna achieve.

I get random fits of depression that's the reason I need help. Ppl who I get in contact with just kinda want it.

Sry that turned into a rant but that's what I deal with with these accountability buddies. Im not offering any service, i dont want to so don't ask, but it feels like most of the people here should be paying for it since they are following through and wasting the other person's time

Since 2020, I’ve been working remotely, and COVID lockdowns and some personal incidents have made me increasingly homebound. I avoid going out unless necessary, and my fitness is taking a hit. The funny part is that my gym is just a 5–10 minute walk away, yet getting myself out of the house feels like a challenge.

I’m looking for an accountability partner for 45 days who can check in on me, push me when I make excuses, and help me build consistency.

Want a fitness partner to hold each other accountable in workouts and nutrition. Prefer 16-20 females but guys are okay if within that age range

I’d like to make fitness a habit in my life and my goal is to build consistency. I found an app called “Gym Rats” (not sponsored) where you can set up challenges and track progress.

The only rule I’ve set is that the workout must be 30 minutes or longer. Because consistency is the goal, the type of workout or length (beyond 30 mins) does not matter.

The challenge starts Oct 26.

I want a complete overhaul and transformation of myself, I am tired of just being untapped potential and letting the days pass me by with no progress.

I am an over planner so I have already written in detail what my ideal routine would look like but my problem is that I know what I need to do but lack the discipline to do it for myself. Weirdly though if someone else needs me to do something i’ll do it instantly to not let them down.

In general I want to focus on:
- Nutrition & Hydration
- Skincare
- Haircare
- Fitness

At first we could do a trial run with just one aspect to see if we work well together then we can expand it to more.

Need someone to be strict, no nonsense, someone who doesn’t accept excuses, and willing to hammer in the point that i need to do this to improve myself unless I want to stay mediocre.

Im looking to check in with each other a minimum of twice a day, once in the morning outlining our goals for the day and once at night of what we accomplished. if we haven’t met our goals that night i want to have to explain why we didn’t complete it and what we can do to prevent that from happening again.

Hey, I'm F21 in the midst of my Mechanical Engineering undergrad. I have ADHD, which I am medicated for, but some outside enforcement would help a lot too. I want a buddy who's trying to get up at a consistent time (5/6 am is my goal) and complete daily tasks for school and life in general. Now, after verification, the CEC has deleted our names from the village voter list and approved our city voter registrations after checking the 2003 SIR records.

Now the question is: Should we protest against this, or should we accept the decision and follow the SIR records?
