Any two stroke fans? Bought this thing as a heap and spent the last year resto modding it. Needs a few more small things but pretty much done. It’s an absolute rocket.

Here’s a little build list for those that were interested

• rebuilt engine with new everything. Sent top end off to get bored, ported, re sleeved, head stud upgrade, head decked and o-ringed and reinforced mounting ears. New clutch basket and clutches. Water pump and ignition coil upgrade. New radiator and hoses.
• custom billet intake manifold to fit the new Lectron 44mm carb
• Dr.Q v2 expansion chamber and silencer chromed
• +2 a-arms and +4 lonestar swingarm. Billet carrier bearing. New sprocket and rotors. Running z400 front spindles and hubs with twin piston yfz450 brakes. Extended billet rear hubs. Braided steel brake lines. New master cylinders.
• Elka shocks
• brand new wiring harness
• new chrome wheels with street tires
• all new nickel coated hardware across entire machine.
• lots of custom made billet and aluminum parts
including, rear grab bar, engine mounts, case saver, spindle nuts, etc..

And a lot of chrome and powder coat. Color is Chevy glacier blue metallic. Still need to get the a-arms and swingarm done.

Help Brand new YFZ50 camber?

Post image
2 Upvotes

So according to google negative camber is normal for a brand new yfz50. I have showered google and the internet for pictures of it and havnt found a single one. Can someone who has bought a newer yfz50 one confirm this is normal? Just for reference I added photos in comments. When he doesnt sit on it its perfectly fine. Checked everything and nothing is bent, loose or broken. Everything is tight as well.

According to Google that is completely normal, I guess riding my bike I'm just not used to saying that so it's throwing me off

Anyone doing the gas to electric conversions? I bought a kit that doesn't really want to plug and play and could use tips on wiring that really worked well together.

Was looking at a 2022 honda rubicon, 520, IRS and EPS. Had about 5000kms.

Reading about the DCT issues getting stuck in neutral etc kind of put me off a bit. Found one in good shape, around 9000 cad but it has since sold.

Found another one, its 2018 /rubicon 520, IRS and EPS with a foot shift with about 9000kms, 500 hours approx. Asking 5550 cad, has been serviced and taken care of it seems, and had some suspension work done recently. New bearings, bushings and ball joints. Comes with heated grips, upgraded tires and rims and a passenger seat. All things i feel ill make use of. Comes with stock tires and rims also

My intent for it, is to plow my driveway and use it on some trail riding for fun and to get out further when im fishing.

Is this a good deal? I feel the older model, with a foot shift for almost half the price will still have plenty of life in it for the things I want to do with it. Im putting simple, reliability over speed and power. Dont care to go mudding the machine.

Look for some input, totally new to all this and have no real experience

Help Multi-Day ATV Quad Tour

I am looking for someplace that offers multi-day tours (preferably guided) for quads with everything included (quad, helmet, gloves, whatever other gear, lodging or pitching tents, food). I love riding quads but don’t have one or any equipment. I see multi-day tours for dirt bikes and UTVs, but I can’t find any for quads.

Help Need help with 400EX carb

So I recently purchased a 2001 Honda 400ex and I took off the carburetor to go through and clean it, in doing so I removed the air intake/choke flap because I was trying to fit it in a can of carb cleaner. (I don't know why I did that as I did not need to) Now I am putting everything back together but the flap won't properly return to each position it needs to (Closed, open and partially open) and I can't for the life of me figure out why it won't. This is probably a dumb question or easy fix but I'm not the most mechanically inclined.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Help Thinking about getting a bike

Thinking about purchasing my first bike, but I'm kind of stuck between a sportsman 850 or the king quad 750 everything I've read out kinda has me tied between the two trying to get some other opinions by anybody that might have either of them and what the pros and cons of both bikes are

Help Polaris trailboss 330

I recently got a 2003 Polaris trailboss from my grandma, when I got it started up fine ran good, on choke, so I took the carb off to clean it but the jet was really stripped so I tried another method but ended up closing the jet hole. I bought a new carb but I’m kinda stumped it doesn’t seem to want to run unless I spray gas in the intake I’m thinking maybe it’s because the fuel pump lines seem to be routed differently than the manual has it, but another question is if it ran fine when I got the quad with the hoses the same as they are now, wouldn’t it work fine? So im not really sure if that’s the issue
The pulse line I followed and it connects to the carb

Help 2010 Polaris Sportsman 550 X2

Im having a really hard time trying to figure out what else to look into to try and figure out the problem im having.

The issues:

  1. Having a really hard time to start/crank without spraying starter fluid into the intake or spark plug hole.
  2. Once it is cranked, its having a really hard time just idling without pressing the throttle in and out.
  3. Also after its cranked (as you see in the video) its aint going no where hardly.

I replaced the spark plug, air filter, new engine oil and a gallon of new gasoline.
Ive looked into the intake valve (not clogged with debris), the fuel injector port/sprayer (it sprays fuel just fine so I know its not the fuel pump), the fuel sensor isnt clogged or dirty, the battery is at 12.30 vdc before starting and while its starting it only drops down to around 11.50 vdc.
Once I let go of the throttler, it dies immediately.

Please dear God help me before I go insane🤣🤣

Help How bad is it?

On a scale of 1-10 how f*ed am I? These metal flakes in the filter and all of them seem to be non-magnetic, but they are fairly large and a lot of them. 2025 Honda Foreman 520 1200kms on it. All maintenance has been done ahead of schedule, full synthetic oil and Honda brand filters, no hard riding and this is the 4th oil change and none of the previous ones have had any metal in them. It’s had a few long cranks to start lately but I was thinking it was the spark plug and I changed it at the same time I did the oil change.

Help 2009 polaris 850 2 up Connection

Hey. Looking for suggestions on how yall may have connected your 2up seat to the plastic on the back of a Polaris 850 xp esp. this is my first atv so I’m still learning. The original owner of the 2up seat had it mounted with u-bolts but there’s not really a good way to do that on this with the way the plastic is designed.

Help Winterizing service?

Post image

I could use a bit of advice from the community. My neighbor lent me this bike for the summer. I used it to haul lumber (on a trailer made from a log dolly) to the site of some bridge work on a local hiking trail. It performed admirably and I'm ready to return it. I probably put about 30 hours on it all told, mostly low speed, low gear hauling 300 lbs on the trailer at a time. Sometimes in hot weather (80F+). Is there any service or inspection I should do before I return it? It still runs fine.

Help Trip Ideas

My son graduates this spring from high school. I want to plan a trip for him and I as I know his time is going to become very busy and before that starts I selfishly want to take him away for some quality time with just him and me. We live in Michigan, there's a ton of great trails around here but I want to go someplace, preferably out west or maybe even out east that has mountains and some fun multi-day type trails. I'd love to find a place that we could camp and maybe has ATV rentals on site. I don't want to drag ours all the way out there. I've searched Google and there's a million options, but I'd love to find somebody that has an opinion on something they've done?

Help Opinion On Keeway Jumbo 200?

As a 186Cm Tall Beginner who's looking for something easy maintenance, Will this be a fit?

Keeway Jumbo ATV 200CC

It Only costs about $1400USD, And is a newly widely available ATV Everywhere in Egypt, And from What I've heard it's comfy & suspension runs fine?

But I'm really unsure about materials used in it and how it holds up in sand, as most of those comments were from asphalt riders that just quite literally use it as a transportation only & never cross 50 km/h.

Is it relatively known & If it is, Is it reliable?

Just picked up this thing last week. Mainly going to be used for plowing my long gravel driveway in the winter. I hope it works well. Anyone ever use atv for plowing? I was told if i used like a 1" pvc pipe, cut it down the middle and put it on the bottom lip of the plow, it'll skip over the rocks on my driveway. I plan on giving it a try anyways see if it helps.

I do want to do some off road trails even though I don't have a ton off experience. I haven't rode one of these in many moons. It does seem like it's really well made and would be a blast to take off road. I was searching used atv's online and most were $3500 to $7000 with high mileage. I said hell with it, I'll just buy new at that rate.

Edit: 2026 model. Just saw salt dispensers for 4 wheelers? Be nice to get one of those and use after I plow.
