Hello everyone, we have some exciting changes and additions to the sub.
The big one, we have added a new mod. Please help me welcome u/vineethrpatil as an additional mod. A fellow enthusiast of AMG and loving of all things AMG. We are a small team of 2, help us help you. if you see issues let us know and report it.
With additional help on the mod crew we feel confident to bring back limited sales posts. We Are doing this to help each other offload a few AMG things you have. examples: wheels, parts you no longer need, EVM module. This is a trial to see how it goes. other subs allow it and we would like to have this too. If you see rule breaks please as always, report it.
- Before you post, Send the mod team a modmail. no modmail, no post. or find yourself banned.
- No dealerships or sales of cars.Dont spam the sub, you'll be banned
- this isn't a merchants guild dont use us to promote your business or flipping parts.
- you must use appropriate [WTS] flair.
- Keep it personal, if you dont have it. dont post it.
- Show proof. We require On first photo a hand written username and today's date. info can be typed.

I slid into a ditch last night and took off my rear bumper and cracked my front as well as my radiator. Minus the coolant leaking the car drove fine to the collison center. I’m curious if this is bad enough to total the car ? There’s no damage on the underside.

Service/Fix/Repair help GLC63 misfires immediately after filling and then goes away. Any ideas?

2018 GLC63 misfires right after filling up, idles really hard and the CEL flashes. Goes away after a few minutes or if I turn the car off. Any ideas?

I have had to drop my plans to upgrade my A35 sedan for a while but I'd like to do something about its look (don't want to change any mechanical part at this stage).
What is your honest opinion about adding "go-fast" stripes? I am not 100% convinced myself...

I have been to the mountains recently and I enjoyed much my E53 AMG Wagon while driving curvy mountain roads. This car sticks to the road really well, especially taking into account it's weight.
I like this car very much!

Service/Fix/Repair help Checking Compression…

2003 CL 55 AMG
Experienced heat soak for the first time recently. Unbeknownst to me, the upper radiator hose was loose while driving. I allowed the car to cool down multiple times (more time was spent cooling down then actually driving)
Looking to perform a compression test to make sure the heads are ok. What are the cold compression numbers for cylinders? Would one spark plug hole suffice, or should i check both holes per cylinder? I intend on checking before i swap in these new spark plugs

Service/Fix/Repair help Part number for differential oil

Can someone help me with the correct part number for the rear differential oil and the dct transmission oil on a 2015 CLA45 AMG?
I believe 001 989 33 03 09 for the differential oil is wrong? Which is what the dealership used in mine and still insist it's the correct one. Right after service the rear differential started making thudding thumping sounds.
According to gemini the correct part number is (Part Number A 002 989 02 03 09).
Now I'm doubting they may have used the wrong transmission oil too. Does anyone have the correct part number for that too?
They have drained out the differential for now and want to refill with the same oil used earlier. They found no metal shrapnel. Car was driven around 50 kms with this thumping. Am I in the clear?
Their explanation is when they put my Vin number into the Mercedes parts catalog system this is the differential oil that shows up.
Please help.

Buying Question Just put a deposit down on an AMG GT

Hey AMG crew!
Just put a deposit down on a 2026 GT 43 2-door in the US. Couple questions for other owners and buyers:
Is there anything I need to ask for in terms of included items with the purchase of an AMG? I know there is an AMG track day program, but is anything else included I should be expecting?
I'm buying out of state due to low inventory on these and getting one with the P71 package (I know its not supposed to exist, but quite a few of the 2025 and 2026 43's were shipped to the US with said package which is why I'm buying one now), I've done this one before but its been awhile and I'm paying extra for enclosed shipping, anything else I should look into for this?
Anything else I should know with the purchase of a GT? It's my first high-end Sportscar, but I've had quite a few enthusiast cars over the years (Miata, STI, GTI, RS3, Ioniq 5 N, etc.)
Thanks in advance! Can't wait to have it in the garage :)
