Hello! I recently got accepted and currently in the process of completing the said requirements.

Anyone here from the Iloilo Satellite Campus (or any satellite campus)? Would like to ask sana if kamusta naman given na the main campus is in Manila.

Do you need to go to the main campus ba to pass the hard copy of the requirements or pwede sa satellite campuses lang? How do you guys often go to Manila (if ever)?

And is there someone here na currently taking (or will be taking) sa Iloilo Satellite Campus?

These are just some general platforms we can explore. So if your paper caters to a more specific niche naman, my go-to tip would be to look for specialized channels and groups where your target respondents are more likely to be active!

A few more tips:

Embed the survey link directly in your caption na. QR codes are fine, but they add an extra step for respondents pa kasi who want to access your survey right away.

Include a banner for your post that clearly states what your study is about, what school or university you're from, and who your target respondents are.

If you're really struggling to get respondents, consider raffling off ₱100 or more to a randomly selected participant as an incentive. This works so much!

hello! Currently a freshie in SOSE here. I just want to seek advice especially from seniors here or sum1 knowledgable abt the system in ateneo.

we haven’t submitted our visa application yet (expected around late oct/ early nov) so we cannot really gauge yet if i’m really tuloy na tuloy na to study abroad next year for the March 2027 intake.

i’m currently debating if i should enroll for the second sem in ateneo next year bc i’m not pretty sure if i‘ll get my visa result by december, just in time before january enrollment period of ateneo.

Let’s say my visa got granted, can I just opt not to enroll anymore (like “ghost”) in ateneo next sem? I’ll inform them at least but are there any paperworks required??

Or if my visa dont have results yet by early january, should I still enroll? If my visa grant arrived in jan, then that’s 100k+ down the drain bc i’m not a scholar. :(( What can I do in these cases?

Hello! For context, I am a part time graduate student currently doing my thesis. I expect to graduate next school year since I am doing this part time but I am still taking my chances on finishing writing my thesis this school year.

I belong to the batch of graduate students with a requirement to publish in a Scopus-indexed journal. Unfortunately, getting accepted is not enough to apply for graduation.

Recently, I have been planning on doing law school as well after graduating. I am considering on applying for this school year. I just want to open myself to other job opportunities. I will only be supporting myself through law school so ALS is out of the question since I read their program is full time.

Given that, I am wondering, if I do finish my thesis this school year and I just need to wait for my publication requirement, is it possible to apply for LOA so that I can proceed with law school? I am also planning on discussing this with my thesis adviser.

Just want to express my thoughts here since it's weighing on me a lot right now.

It's been a few months since the semester started, and I've been feeling depressed as I realized I don't have any real friends. I want to befriend my blockmates, but every time I try to talk or engage with them, it's awkward as they have their own groups already. I sometimes envy whenever they have lunch together or hang out with each other. I don't mind being alone but sometimes it stings.

I know people in organizations I'm part of, but it's superficial and we have conflicting schedules. I want to make a friend so bad, someone to eat lunch with, someone to study with, someone to be myself with. I feel like I have to put on a mask especially in this new environment and culture here in admu.

I know I'm still a freshie and there is so much time to make friends. But, it's been making me genuinely depressed as of late and lonely.

i don’t even know if this will ever get approved, but i just want to remind everyone to please never trust a guy solely because he has a good educational background, comes from a prestigious university, or has money.

honestly, it’s so hard for me to even open up about what happened, especially knowing that he’s from ateneo, comes from a wealthy family, and is already in his fourth year. meanwhile, i’m only 18, barely middle class, and living with diagnosed mental disorders. it’s intimidating to think about how different our circumstances are and how much harder it feels for someone like me to speak up.

sometimes, i can’t help but feel like i’ll never be able to tell my side of the story while someone like him gets to continue living his life, building his future, and enjoying all the privileges that come with his background, as if nothing ever happened. and that thought alone is exhausting.

i hate that being heard can feel so much harder when you’re a woman who already belongs to a marginalized sector. i hate that someone’s reputation, wealth, and educational background can make it even more difficult to speak about what happened to you.

i just wish things were different. no one should have to feel like their voice matters less simply because they have less power, money, or privilege than the person they’re trying to speak up about.

title. read here that only students are allowed on the building (which i understand ofc), but are there any tambay or picnic spots that is open to outsiders? planning to tambay sana and read and people watch after as solo date haha. thanks!

Hello I’m a BSCS shiftee who shifted during 2nd year from Management and is about to take CSCI 199.1 (Thesis) Next sem. As of now, I don’t really have connections with the normal BSCS 2028 students and I’m struggling to find someone to work with for thesis as many of them already have made connections from orsem and did not share many classes with them earlier on. Is there anyone here from BSCS taking CSCI 199.1 next semester that needs someone. Will there potentially be a way to help people find groups? I don’t know if I can handle working alone. Appreciate any response. Thanks.
