My first 4runner and loving her so far.

Purchased a new 2026 ORP in Everest back in June and loving it so far. However, one thing I've noticed is that the AC and heater just feel flat out weak. I'm curious if anyone else shares this same experience?

My Jeep Wrangler is exactly the opposite - the AC feels like you're standing in front of a wind turbine, and the heater is legitimately hot. I'm wondering if I'm just used to the Jeep or if maybe there's something wrong with the AC/heating system?

It both:

A. Never feels like it gets very hot or cold, even with AC enabled.

B. Feels straight up weak - Full blast in the 4R is like level 2-3 in the Jeep.

Anyone know what’s sound? Just started today and gets worse as I turn the fan up. Only happens when top vents only are on whether air circulation is turned on or not.

Happened twice now, once the car was warm and once the car was cold.

Decelerating using the brakes got to approximately 20-30 kph (12-18mph). Car started bucking and RPM's bouncing.

Felt like someone was tapping the brakes.

I hear the Tacoma's had an issue in the beginning like this?

Car has approximately 18 thousand km's on it (12k miles). Has two oil changes and routine maintenance. Otherwise no off roading, no towing and mostly highway mileage.
100% stock, including wheels and tires. No tune

Anyone have a similar issue? Will for sure bring it to a dealer so it's on file.

Does anyone know where it belongs? I found it in my cup holder exactly as that first photo depicts. This was a new vehicle.

Looking for a 6th gen sr5 4wd with 3rd row. Best I found so far is 50,300 otd and a broker said they could do 49,800 otd.

Any recs on where to go and if I can get it below 49k otd? Thanks!

I just got my hands on the 4Runner and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or designs for 3D printing some accessories? My trim is the SR5 with the XP package. I have looked at a few designs on maker world but nothing stood out. I’m looking for exciting stuff to modify and not boring things like storage compartments.

Obviously this is just the Apple case (which I received today), but it appears the iPhone Duo would be able to be wirelessly charged here. I had thought the phone would be too wide. Now of course, the height difference from a 17 Pro Max is astounding…

I’d like to put ditch light and front facing something or other switches in these spots. Has anyone been in there? Ease/difficilty of moving the view and dif lock switches over and fishing new wire? ORP premium.

I’m wanting to switch from a Honda Ridgeline to a 4Runner for my next vehicle but want to see what a Ruffland Intermediate kennel and gear looks like in the back. I’m not worried about off-pavement capability as I’ve never had issues with the Ridgeline and the 4R is def more capable. TIA

This thing has been super capable with stock sized nokian outpost nat all terrains but the rigid plastic oem flaps get hung up and probably will get ripped off.

Any suggestions on somewhat flexible mudflaps to keep the rocks down but not snap in half on the trail? Cheers

Hey - anyone semi-permanently install a Starlink Mini in their 4Runner?

We just moved to the sticks and there's intermittent cell service (at best) and my wife is worried about getting stuck in winter with our toddler with no way to get help.

I got her a Garmin InReach but she'd like something more intuitive to use, so I figured just giving her in-car internet would allow her to use her phone like normal to call/text.

Any advice on mounting positions/methods would be appreciated.

I have a TRD Off Road, no sunroof. The rear side windows closest to the back hatch are probably gonna be too small. I could maybe mount it to the rear window all the way on the passenger side, but I'm not sure if that's kosher or not.

My wife just picked up her new 4runner! It has the 2.5 trd lift installed with the standard sized tires on the 18 inch wheels. What size tires are fitting without rubbing? I want to upgrade her tires for her birthday next week! Just curious what everyone is doing and what's working. I dont want any rubbing but it needs to look tougher than it does.

Anyone have recommendations for a cargo cover other than Toyota’s OEM?

So there’s only like 2 YouTube videos showing engine air filter replacement on a 6th gen. I grabbed this filter from Walmart and I can’t get the box to clamp back. You have to slide the top of the box into these guides and it keeps pushing on the rubber seal. This filter is supposed to fit and it’s the same size as my oem one. Anyone have any suggestions? Should I just get one from an auto parts store or a dealership? I think I have it oriented but the rubber seal is stopping me from closing it.

Picked it up back in January this year and we’ve been loving it! Couple road trips with it already and have a short camping trip coming up the finish off the year

305,000 miles, and the 2/4 of the catalytic converters finally said “later” on my 08 Prerunner Tacoma. Been with the family since new, but it just didn’t make any financial sense to hold on to her any longer. I’m gunna miss her without question. Anyway, here’s my 26 TRD ORP “La Negra Tomasa”. So this is a loaded question…
I’m moving from New York to California at the end of November. I need a second car when I get to California and want to get a 2026 4Runner TRD Off Road( however open other to recommendations) I have the money to buy it in cash but we’re saving for a house so I want to keep my savings what they are for now. With that being said should I lease it out while saving cash to buy it outright at the end of the lease( if so what would be a good number to lease it at with nothing down) or do I finance it at 5.99apr?
