Added some new footwell lighting to my 2024 Tacoma
TRD Sport! Should be the same for the 6th Gen 4Runner. The red lighting gives the interior a whole new look at night and pairs great with my Lasfit floor liners. Definitely a nice little upgrade to customize the cab! Easy little 5 minute job.

I wanted to share here as I looked for people’s input and advice before I got our 2026 4Runner undercoated.
After calling a lot of local shops and gathering information I decided to go with Mass Mobile undercoating in Holden, MA. The owner Todd has been great to work with and took the time to explain everything and provide clear up front pricing.
I went with the Boss Wax system from NHOU which is a permanent dry to touch wax on outer frame parts that stays flexible and oil fogging on all inner frame and body panel surfaces. Todd also does annual oil undercoating with NHOU product as well.
Looking forward to keeping this thing rust free and bringing it back to Todd at Mass Mobile undercoating for fogging and wax check in 2 years to see how it’s holding up!

Have a 2026 ORP Hybrid w/ 3k miles. I noticed a few weeks ago after a multi-day rainstorm that the inner cabin smelled musty when I got back in the car (couple of days after the storm). I assumed I may have left a window or moonroof open and water may have gotten into the cabin - so made sure to open/close all of them next time I parked.
We had another storm last week. A full day after the storm ended, I go to my car and all of the windows and windshield had heavy condensation on the inside of the cabin — suggesting there was a significant amount of moisture/water in the cabin. No strong musty smell this time, but nonetheless still raised an alarm bell to me. I could not find any evidence of water or moisture anywhere inside the car other than the condensation on all of the windows.
Before I take it back to the dealer - I was wondering if anyone else is having water/leak issues. I found a couple other 6th gen 4Runner posts about the musty smell, but most people pointed to AC usage (and recirculation, which I never turned on). My window condensation also seems to suggest that water is getting into the cabin somehow.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hey everyone! My buddy got a new 4Runner a few months ago and he loves that thing. His birthday is coming up and I wanted to get him something either for the 4Runner or 4Runner themed. We started off-roading a few months back and he's getting into welding his own stuff like rock sliders as well. Not looking to break the bank, just looking for something fun/useful as a birthday present! Thanks!

I don’t find the stock headlights to be awesome on my ORP. They are certainly adequate but I’m looking for more. We spend a lot of time on dark mountain roads. I plan on getting ditch lights but kinda want a light bar or pods up front too. I don’t need a laser beam to shoots a mile down the road, I’d just like what the normal brights light up only way better. Or maybe a laser beam that also lights up the critters and vagabonds lurking on the sides of the road. I don’t give a crap whether they are legal or not.
Whatcha think?

Hi, crossposting to see if any 6th Gen 4Runner Hybrid owners with IGLA installations have encountered issues.

I live just outside of Pittsburgh and I’ve seen maybe two or three other 6th gen 4Runners in passing in the month or so that I’ve owned mine while out and about. I’m not watching like a hawk but I haven’t noticed many around.

I grazed my mailbox and scratched the plastic piece above the wheel. I think it’s these two parts to replace. If it was a boat, it would be the starboard side, so the right if facing the front of the car. I’m trying to figure out if that means right hand or left hand side. I assume right because that is what it would be for the driver, but not sure. Thanks.

She is sitting pretty right now. About to order some wheels still trying to decide what to go with. Any suggestions?
This is an ai enhanced photo just to bring out the color. Look in the comments for original. Yes I do have one inch spacers. The wheels are stock sr5 wheels. The tires are nitto ridge grapplers 285/70/17s. I also have Katzkin leather seats installed and a leveling kit.

I was climbing up a trail which is 14% for a few miles, in about 90 degree weather and noticed my transmission temp gauge kept climbing even in 4Lo. This was the highest it ever reached. I never got a temperature warning.
Once it reached this point, I just put it in park and let it cool for 5 mins and then it returned to middle range temp. But after climbing for about 5 more mins, it shot right up to this temp again. Is this abnormal behavior? I thought the transmission temp was supposed to be stable when climbing in 4Lo. Not a troll post, but is it normal for your transmission to get hot in these conditions even in 4Lo? The truck just had me and less than 50 pounds of gear. I have completely stock tires as well, but was thinking upgrading to heavier, but still same size as stock, but am second guessing based on this behavior.

Easy install gives a clean look, I got the black logos for that OEM look.
Easy install took about a half an hour but….. the passenger side is a MOFO

I know hot honey is on its way for TRD Pro.
Anything else in the rumour mill?
For Canada specifically, it sounds like we will finally be able to get Everest outside of the Trailhunter trim (we couldn't before). I also saw another post that Wavemaker would not be offered on TRD Pro, but I'm not sure if that is specific to Canada.

Was anybody debating between 6th gen and a new landcruiser? Let me know why you ended up going with a 6th gen! Looking at a limited or landcruiser currently

Any owners replace their stock tires with 265/70/R18 KO3’s in D Load Rating? If so could you provide comments on ride quality and MPG Impact?

Before I embarrass myself irl, do we have a 4Runner wave like Wrangler or motorcycle folks have?

Heya gents,
Do y'all have a preferred aftermarket lightbar? I'm interested in adding one to the front via the trail runner lower grill. I mainly want a good wiring solution until I add a switch to the whole setup. Currently eyeing diode dynamic ss bar

Love this hybrid, want to get otc tune, is it worth it? What tires should I get?
I took off the air damn and tinted the windows.
Any other ideas? Want it to look good! Not worried about cost

Negotiated with a couple different dealers (via text) and ended up with almost 10% off MSRP!
