Sad Beige Guy has been trying to sell this house in rome, GA for 2 years and refuses to come down on price.
For context:
property is not in a great area, it's right by a railroad track (used to live nearby and trains would come by every 2 to 3 hours), once he couldn't sell the house for 300k originally he put in a driveway and raised the price to 350 then lowered it back to 300 again. Brags about property being luxury but does not include appliances.

Sad Beige Had a dude tell me I was an entitled millennial because I couldn’t endure the slightest bit of discomfort by buying and living in an imperfect house that only needs 30k in repairs. The aforementioned house:

Sad Beige Inspired by the Toronto post, here's Hood River, Oregon. 2012 vs. 2024.
Here's a link to the Zillow listing from 2020:

I'm glad it was beautifully photographed for posterity, at least.
While the "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" color scheme may not have been everyone's cup of tea, you couldn't accuse it of being boring.
I have half a mind to believe the buyer made it dark, gray and sinister-looking on purpose; As if to break its spirit.

Sad Beige "What if we put a sterile crypto-bro mansion in... (*throws dart*)... Wyoming?"
This has to be a winner for one of the most inane, pathetic attempts at haute millionaire home architecture I've ever seen. The jet-black garage, the sad excuse for a grass lawn, the senseless location literally in the middle of nowhere, the beige everything, the light fixtures, the cheap Hobby Lobby art on the walls, the lack of decor on the walls everywhere else, the unlabeled jars for all of the non-perishables. It's like Bladerunner meets Beverly Hills meets empty office building.
Those wooden sinks are the absolute laughable pinnacle of form over function. So ridiculous.

Sad Beige Oh cool, a house built in 1715! I wonder what the inside . . . oh.
Listing [https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1315-Lenape-Rd-West-Chester-PA-19382/54760593_zpid/](here). Also note the 10/10 Extreme Flood Risk and the busy road it nearly touches.

Sad Beige A remarkably bland house being sold by an alleged dog murderer
https://www.lasvegasluxuryresidences.com/search/listing/362-wiseton-ave-las-vegas-nv--2804700/
Owner of Miranda dog rescue in Fortuna California who is currently being investigated for the murder and disappearance of several hundred dogs is selling his Las Vegas home. Likely to afford upcoming lawsuits and legal fees. Is it weird that an owner of a non profit happens to own a 1.1 million dollar second home in Vegas? Maybe. Is it a remarkably bland and off-putting house? Absolutely.

Sad Beige A house on the Isle of Nantucket/ Was a life goal, a list for the bucket./ But a flipper got there/ And dang stripped the place bare./ Two centuries' history? Chuck it! (built 1795; ruined 2025)
A piece of eighteenth century history, blandified into generic blah.

Sad Beige I would like to report a crime.
Built in 1880 and they turned into a hideous grey nothing. They must have removed all of the original window and door trim to do this.
Looks like the only original items are the floor grates which are in bad shape. I assume it looks truly terrible in person because the only pictures where you can see any details, you can see where the backsplash fell off the wall but they didn’t replace it and holes from where there used to be a mirror over the sink. It’s $195k and seems over priced. Poor little house : (

The after photos of this house flip make me so sad. The before are from street view. It had so much charm and character (if maybe a few too many birdhouses).
