How are we feeling about this controller? Love the textured grips and the overall design is dope. For me this is definitely the best controller they've produced this generation.

Same. I cancelled the 25th anniversary controller for this. No regrets.

I've gotten a gears of war controller for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One days. Sadly I didn't get it for the Xbox series X, but instead got the 25th anniversary controller instead, I'm wondering if I should still get this, but I don't want to have a pile of Xbox controllers at home that I'm not going to use.

Your thoughts?

Yeah and I also have the galaxy 2tb Xbox series X console and I love that controller too. Plus my Xbox One white and gears of war 4 controllers

It looks awesome. I finally got a chance to start the tutorial on Monday lol (dad gamer) and in the essence of time, I started with my halo elite instead of connecting the new gears controller, and once I saw you have to use both A and Y for movement, I don't think I want to play on the regular controller, so i was kinda bummed.

I literally only got to the part where Marcus is walking down the street though.

Haha. I sat down, hit start, sent a snap to my bro, who is also a new dad as of a few weeks ago, that said "Lets see how long this lasts," and right as I hit send, my mom who watches our daughter, texted "She's up on our way." I was like welp.

Same here.

Except I have about 50 games queued up with little to no time to play them. And when I do, I get about 10 min before I'm getting dirty looks.

From the significant other? That kind of sucks, my wife doesn't have a problem with me playing but she will check me if she needs me to do something for the little one.

I feel tempted, but I worry about the grime building up in those cracks and ruining it down the line.

Plus, we are 6 years in this generation. This controller will be obsolete eventually

I wash my hands before I grab my control so I won't have that problem and there are always other things you can use it for like a tablet or phone.

Naw. You can still use Xbox 360 controllers with the Series x cant ya? I know I can use the Xbone ones

360 controllers no, but you can use One controllers on Series models.

I’m saying obsolete because every console includes some kind of gimmick or redesign.
