I no longer have expectations with anyone while watching anything because of this. I just assume they won’t be able to focus, and don’t suggest watching something together unless I know I will enjoy it on my own. Parents, siblings, significant others, all lacking the attention to watch something together. Constantly on their phones, getting up constantly, falling asleep, asking me to explain things they would understand if they just focused… so annoying
