Its just an animation of some of the characters in it. Its a very fun corny action series that sometimes is also serious and scary, just depends on the game. Either way is peak as fuck. Easiest way to get introduced is to play the remakes or the co op games with a friend to laugh at how silly but cool it can be.
These are indeed resident evil characters, this is extra funny to RE fans because it's 'canon' that there might have been something between Albert Wesker and Rebecca Chambers. Evident by the photo you can find in Weskers desk in the police station and the whole mind control spider alt costume Rebecca has in a different game. In RE1, Wesker is in his mid thirties at the time, while Rebecca was 18.

Problematic drawings are one bad thing, but these type of people flood normal stuff too. E.g. Stellar Blade 2/Pragmata, every single "mainstream" sub was fill with these types of people, and I had to go to a right-wing chud sub to actually find discussions about the game itself ("plot good? mechanics good?" type talk). Slowly most games and shows have devolved to this pattern.

They were playing a game where Wesker (The guy with the shades) had to guess what was on the photo and it turned out to be a pic of Rebecca (The girl) in a basketball outfit. The photo was found in Weskerās desk by Chris (The other guy in the video) after Chris searched Weskerās desk 50 times. (Which is what you had to to do in game in order to get the Rebecca photo.) Ā The game is Resident Evil 2 I think. (The characters are from re1 but the photo is from re2)
Okay jeez, a while back I was on r/distressingmemes, as one is, and there was a cool animation made by someone, so you know, I go to their page to check them out, and its like, its all naked anime kids. Like so many.
And so I leave a comment like, you know cool animation, but what's' with the kids?
And they post this cringe af crying image for some reason, so you know, ironically the poster was more distressing than the meme on distressingmemes, lol.
ANYWAY THOUGH, the real juicy thing is after the huge backlash, they removed their posts, and made a post on some random reddit making fun of US for calling them out, and I found it because they used my username and I'm like, hey you know I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but like obviously that's concerning you know, and got downvoted into oblivion lol.
I was actually cleaning out my PC, and found the screenshots which reminded me, so here they are, this is my original comment on their post on r/distressingmemes :
The self-described proship label is largely inhabited by people who think that fiction and reality have ZERO correlation whatsoever and use it to defend the creation and consumption of any kind of media so long as it doesnāt directly harm a real person.
The issue is that divisions between fiction and reality arenāt that cut and dry.
We don't believe its literally impossible for people to be influenced by fiction in any way whatsoever, just that enjoying something in a fictional fantasy scenario doesnt have a fucking magic brainwashing effect that compels you to do it in real life

The type of people who believe fiction has magic brainwashing properties are universally agreed to be out of touch (by everyone else). They're the same people who believe that "violent videogames make school shooters" myth.
Fiction nudges & indicates the kinds of things people are & aren't okay with. Someone gleefully reading misogynist content is more likely to be a misogynist, indicated by the misogyny not being discomforting. A lolicon is more likely to be a pedo, for the same reasons.
Is it proof? No. But it'd be irresponsible to blindly trust otherwise. "Innocent until proven guilty" is for court, not for safety measures. I wouldn't trust a possible misogynist to be alone with a woman, & I wouldn't trust a possible pedo to be alone with a child.

And whenever you call into question the effects that tropes played out in fiction affect peopleās actual mentality, youāre met with adamant refusal of the idea that they could even be somewhat related.
Classic example would be how certain abusive behavior were portrayed as romantic gestures in Hollywood Movies, e. G. Not taking no for an answer, stalking your love interest, etc.
Humans are always listening and learning to the environment around them in search of behaviour to emulate in order to fit in with their āgroupā. Works of fiction are always impacting how people feel and think in this regard, especially seen when people dissect how they justify the morals and positions they hold.
Old Disney princess movies for instance have been key to the late 1900s cultural zeitgeist in which young girls (and boys too, but Iām focusing on girls here) were provided little variety in the types of role models they could aspire to be like. Most often theyād either have one or multiple damsel in distress moments, if not straight up be a token example of that trope, leaving little room for them to develop ideas of self-worth and independence through the media they consumed. There was little in the ways of girls in more āmasculineā settings like action, and even when they were present, were often still accompanied by tropes that reminded audiences that they were still girls/women.
Progressive media had been struggling for decades to get itself aired and out because censors knew that promoting works that actually portrayed girls and women with strength and independence and in a wide variety of roles would give real girls and women ideas.
The exact same pattern here goes for media involving queer people, in which historically negative portrayals of LGBT+ people in media have had real negative impacts on how people at large see LGBT+ people.
Fiction is an expression of the real thoughts and feelings that are felt by its creators. Itās both a representation of what people think, and a tool to influence how other people think. If not handled properly, genuinely bad lessons (in the examples above, bigotry) can be taught to others.
If you talk about the diddy stuff then it is an eternal fight between ppl that are unable or unwilling to separate fiction from reality vs ppl that oppose censorship. Then you get the haters on one side and the pedos on the other so it turns the fight into something that pretents to take on important stuff but it is ultimately irrelevant since our leaders are all pedos anyways and justice is death.

Some parts of proship ideas are good, (anti censorship, freedom of expression, etc) but the problem with that is uncensored spaces attract the worst fucking people, and they take over the space immediately. It's a subreddit for people who are heavy into shipping culture. (Shipping here means putting two characters together romantically). In some circles, the culture around it got VERY deep into fictional romances that would be disgustingly illegal, and they justify this behavior because it is fictitious, so no real minors (or animals or whatever) are actually harmed.
Proship is a label people use to declare that they are for any and all types of shipping. However, in reality, people aren't particularly against most forms of shipping. So in practice, spaces for and people who declare themselves as proship effectively become spaces for people who like more notably ships and fanfiction such as pedophilia, incest, rape, real person fiction (particularly when mixed with the prior topics), etc... and usually in a fetishised manner/not handled with much tact from what I've seen.
In my experience, people who proudly declare themselves as being proship tend to not be the best with boundaries; posting their more "sensitive" content in general fandom spaces, mixing it with other more SFW content on the same account, tagging and activly involving people who have expressed their discomfort with such content in their callouts, etc...

Lowkey it was actually just reused from my last post, but I'm using this as an excuse to share the creative process now
Firstly, I found the screenshots, so thats the idea, then went to r/cheesepizzeria for the gif, imported it into premiere pro
I used my last meme, with the customer assaulting me and changed the text, keeping the dimensions and white box identical
Then I imported the gif, scaled it and positioned it, cut the punchline section out and imple.ented a zoom in effect, so its easier to see the cp image
Then, I slowed down the final bit, to let it sink in, really marinate on it
The audio was already there, but I tinkered with the speed, making it slightly faster so her mouth opens with the beat, somewhat small addition but is much more satisfying
With that, I exported it as an mp4, cropped my screnshots so you don't see me pc, and then posted
There's lowkey a lot that goes into my stupid reddit posts, this is all I have š„¹
