Discussion The Wendy’s Wednesday nugget coupon was glitched and comped my whole order!
Absolutely wild. Saw the discount was different and just ordered enough food for 2 days

This evening thought about going out to Wendys and getting a number 1 single combo with a large coke. Saw in the app they had a dollar off any combo. Oh cool, i'll do that. Go to check out and app errors out and says dave single combo is not eligible because it is not a "premium" combo. Immediatly emptied my cart and had left overs at my house. Does my left over chicken thighs and peppers take like rubber and mace? Yes. Is it on me for not reading the fine print? Also Yes. Is this post petty and childish? Absolutely. But at the end of the day I at least keep my $8.00 while you continue to go into bankruptcy.

Wendy's decided out of the blue to switch from leafy green lettuce to cheap, shredded iceberg lettuce. This change completely changed the taste of their sandwiches to literally NOTHING. That particular lettuce overpowers the entire sandwhich, leaving it flavorless. Both burgers and chicken sandwiches.
I think I am officially done with Wendy's. Quality is definitely NOT their recipe and never seems to really has been. First off, did someone actually taste test their product before making the idiotic decision on switching the ingredient? When I got both both their Jr Bacon and a Spicy Chicken, I was not informed of the switch, nor was it advertised. This trash of a company just made the switch on their own liberty and sold it like nothing changed. I mean most companies make a simple note saying "new look, same great taste"...but now I see why Wen-Deez-Nuts didn't do that, because that "same great taste is no longer there". Now I wouldn't have this much of a problem if their prices were fair, but like every other crooked fast food company, they gauged their prices and they still continue to.

This was my Dave’s Double today. Cost me $8.33. I enjoyed it and would do it all over again.
Edit:
Location: Northern NJ
Hand size: normal
Bun size: typical hamburger roll
Typical cost of take out burger with fries in neighborhood is $15.

Instead of complaining online about the quality of the food, service, and hoping for upper management to notice and implement the much needed change. We must take matters into our own hands.
Buying common shares of Wendy's (Ticker symbol: $WEN) means you own part of the business which allows you voting rights to change within the corporation during the Annual Shareholders meeting which should take place around May-June 2027
During annual meetings and proxy cycles, common stockholders of record vote on core corporate governance matters, including:
**Election of Directors: Voting on the slate of borde nominees.
Omnibus Equity/Award plans: Approving or amending long term incentive and stock plans
Auditor ratification: Appointing the independent registered public accounting firm
Say-on-pay: Advisory (non-binding) votes on executive compensation.
**Shareholder Proposals: Voting on governance or policy resolutions submitted by stockholders
Major Corporate Actions: special or extraordinary votes can also arise if a company faces structural changes, mergers, or take private proposals surrounding potential acquisition or private equity interest
In conclusion, buying common stocks will give us the power to vote change and make Wendy's the quality we know and love via Shareholders proposal and eliminating any board of Director not doing a good job!
Just a biggie bag for thought.
P.S I only own 2 $WEN stocks lol

I seriously thought for a second I lost my taste and smell from somehow getting Covid. There's no beef taste, or very little, it's really odd.
The burgers taste like napkins

You have to order an extra patty, extra cheese, and extra bacon!
Edit: The fries were shit. I ate four and through them out.

I mean damn man. That sh!t was $4.99 like 5 minutes ago and $2.99 in ‘05.
In a world of sh!tflation this one made me do a double take at the light.
Literally on the 99¢ menu this was $3.
What. The. Actual. Fck. A single SMALL combo?!? Tell me y’all aren’t paying that now?!

Went to Wendys today for a quick snack while my kid slept in the carseat.
AI drive thru is weird. Got 2 junior cheese burgers and a medium fries.
9 bucks!!! The guy at the window just gave me the bag and I left.
Overpaid for dogfood, and didn't speak to a single person.
Fuck you wendys

To be real, the drive-thru total average was bad because of multiple slow-points across the store.
I normally eat half of my sandwich during break and take the rest home.i had my manager telling me (it's a violation eating your sandwich when you're not on break) when I only eat my food when I'm on break, and she immediately starts getting defensive for some reason) I call the store and tell them I'm going to the ER because I might have food poisoning and they immediately get defensive and say "this is a serious accusation" when I said someone might have poisoned my food or tampered with it in some way can you check the cameras.I said to the manager over the phone "I don't know why you're yelling at me about this" and she responds with this isn't yelling if you want me to I can show you yelling.i even had one of the managers say "maybe you're the one being a problem" when I literally dont even talk to anybody at work yet I'm still somehow causing problems.
This store is sus as fuck, people breaking all kinds of health violations here like smoking in the break rooms and some employees will touch raw meat with their sandwich gloves and then go back to making food. So I'm wondering if I'm sick because someone touched raw meat before making my sandwich.
I then call the store tell the manager I'm calling off for the night he immediately goes "I'm not checking the cameras you don't even know if it's food poisoning and then hangs up the phone"
It's honestly baffling to me because I'm the most reliable worker there, I'm the only full time employee that gets more hours then some of the managers here where I'm working upwards of 60 hours and they're treating me like trash.

As the title says, they bring back early 2000’s Wendy’s exactly the way it was but you have to pay more bc it’s higher quality, are you going?
If they could only bring one item back to the future, what’s your pick?

I don't get Wendy's too much but I got a Dave Single and chicken sandwich and fries today..
Yellow package is back, chicken came in a box like a big mac and the burger was wrapped in paper not the foil.
Honestly, the quality looked and tasted much better than I had last time.. less messy, just overall seemed like it was better.
Just me and got lucky this time or you guys think the same ?

Overall a great sandwich for the price. Fries were cold but cashier was friendly.
