Been getting a friend into the game and I’ve been dying to get into a pvp or private server with a bigger group of friends to fight eachother and mess around.. if your looking for someone to play and just kick it on v rising with add EON_12652 on ps5 and lets hop on a server together!

Full hollowfang gear, iron weapons, 3 different potion effects, 92% pure brute blood and a blood moon and he killed me twice. I only managed to get him barely past half health before he gets me and YES I am using the environment and dodging as often as I can. It doesnt help he does area damage I cant escape in certain spots.

Ive tried everything, I've tried killing the lady that gives you the study and I couldn't even get her at half health with the same parameters. I tried killing the Undead General for his weapons, same issue. I CANNOT progress from here no matter what I do!!

This is my eighth attempt at beating Tristan and no matter what I do I can't seem to kill him.

EDIT: This subreddit has been insanely helpful!! I don't feel as defeated and frustrated as I did when I initially made the post and after I change around my fighting style and practice some more I will update again when I finally beat Tristan 😁 Thank you so much to everyone that has left advice for me, and thank you even more to those that have been kind and encouraging I really needed that 🩶

My roomie and I joined this server about 2 weeks ago. There was another clan in already so we were thinking it would see more action since it was recently reset. But that clan is no more, so my roomie and I are alone in this server. We really want some competition to make it more fun but also we wanna unload the TONS of extra supplies (all forms of paper, books like crazy, seeds, so on) to whoever joins. i bough controller and want to try it on vrising, on other game such as monster hunter and last epoch if i have controller i just press a button and it instantly change to controller mode. but vrising not like this. what i need to do? thanks

I've released a new mod called PVESieges.

It does what the title says, Vardoran factions being able to attack your castle

A siege starts when you kill a vblood (70% chance) and has an 8% chance each morning or 10% chance each night (undead) to happen. You can force a siege by giving yourself adminauth and typing in chat "!siege"

They spawn in 3 waves, are able to plant bombs at your doorstep, they fight your servants, a captain spawns at the 3rd wave with the sentinel's level aura buff.

They win if they kill you (and there are no servants around) or hold your castle heart for 30 seconds.

There's no consequence to losing a siege, but it will prevent you for getting the rewards. Enjoy :D

So in trying to play with mods, nothing big rn just basic added commands to the game, and im having trouble making them work,

So I installed server launch fix as you're supposed to but I kept getting no response from remote host error, im aware its needed. I've seen people say to launch with steam cmd but I honestly have no idea how that works, is there an easy work around or am I gonna have to spend hours learning deeper technical knowledge

I've made the brutal once but with help of a friend and now I'm facing the real problem here. The great lord Dracula haha. So I'm here begging for any tip or how to improve my spell damages. Cause I've seen a lot of people doing massive damage and melted Dracs but not happens with me even If try my best. So my build is:

Weapon: The end bringer- Spell crit chance + spell crit power + bonus spell pwr ( ability modifies ignite )

Spells:

Void - spaw 3 fragments - dmg 16% - recharge 12% - engulfed 6% healing 12%

Rain of chaos - cooldown 12% - firsr engulfb14% dmg- engulfed 6% and heals 12% - 30% greater meteor

Passive abilities:

Feral Haste - chaos kindling - renewing flames - flowing sorcery and hunger for blood

Ult - Merciless charge

Note that Im hovering over the upgraded weapon in the second image. What is the point of this? They both are identical !

i want to play the game but i kinda bored because i done it several time so im looking if theres mods that alter the game either making vampire do something new or harder/newest boss. is there any recommendation? thank you

Running a static + stormshield attack speed build, and I came across a jewel for discharge and another jewel for cyclone, and both jewels had the "increases damage done by storm shield by 20%" and "each active storm shield grants 6% spell life leech" modifiers.

If I equip both jewels, does it make all my storm shields' damage increase by 40% and give me 12% spell life leech for each storm shield, or do these mods only act upon the storm shield that was granted by their respective spell? (e.g. if the damage modifier of discharge was 20% and cyclone was 11%, only the storm shields summoned by discharge would do 20% more, while cyclone's storm shield would do 11% more)

And also do these modifiers interact with the storm shields summoned by the amulets?

This is going to be a very emotional E-mail, I do apologise, but I just had to thank you for making this game. 

This Monday, I found my mother in her home dead, she was 69 years of age as she passed away. Just before she went into retirement I somehow convinced her to buy a gaming laptop so that her and my wife could all play games together, since I was a teenager I always wanted to play games with her. 

So I set up a V Rising server on my home PC and we played all the time, every night asking if she would come on, even some days she would send me stuff like this: 

In the last months of her life, almost every night we would play V Rising. She loved the building. She kept going into the bloody sun, my wife would scream at her "Get out of the sun!!!" and we would joke and laugh about how she kept staying in the sun.

After I found my mum passed away, as a final momento we are keeping the blood fountain topped up now to make sure that the base cannot deteriorate and planted roses next to her. 

Even the very last night, I had messaged her to see if she was coming on:

I just want to say thank you, thank you for making such a great game, to allow me to spend the time with my mum like this, thank you for creating the final and most awesome of my life with my mother.

I'm really bad at the combat in this game apparently. I thought I was getting better, but no. Even on easy, I'm unable to get past the horseman battle with Sir Irwin.

So many of these bosses and enemies now have the ability to stun, to freeze. To send multiple AoE attacks out. To follow you with lightning blasts. etc. I'm just watching my health bar vanish, and no good respites in battle to recoup.

I'm not sure what counters there are for these in combat? It seems too frantic to get any chances to sip potions, and I don't seem to have anything that negates any specific attacks, or can buff against mobility-based attacks.

What am I missing?

I'm searching for something for a new breath of air and stumble on V Rising on Steam.

I was completely hooked in the first week, and when I got to the servants function I could play more easily-my job is too busy to play so I just sent them to do the work and and I could come back to refine the materials myself-reminded me of Path of Exile Kingsmarch where you could send the shipments then return for that reward.

Hope to see more DLC on stories and environment, I'm just 60 and into Gloomrot right now as a solo player.

from what i've tested its only 8 frames, and it disappears as soon as the dust settles.

I've always wanted to take a look around and inside the dracula's castle(other than what you can see when you walk in). is there like a mod or setting to let me fly out of bounds to explore the outside of the castle or through the walls to see the interior?

I am new to the mutant side of this game and love the benefits of the mutant blood on my character. I currently have an imprisoned mutant bear I dominated at the Gloomrot South/North border with 77% blood purity and am wondering if anyone knew if irradiant gruel would work on it the same as human prisoners. Everywhere I look online says you cannot imprison the mutant creatures. Has anyone else encountered this situation?
