I can recall how some people had somehow made a mistake about how Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni was somehow kid friendly as I remember sometimes reading stories of people watching the anime for the first time expecting the anime adaptation to be family friendly as to this day, I have no idea how someone could mistake such a franchise as being innocuous.

I tried using AI to create a native Android port of the classic PC-98/Windows version of YU-NO using the open-source ai5-sdl2 latest nightly engine, becasue i doubt anyone is willing to do it.

• Its using 2011 TLWiki English translation.
  
• Saturn voice patch
  
• Native touch controls (and gamepad should work)
• English fonts are embedded directly into the APK

How to use it:
Like other engine ports, the APK contains no game assets. You need the files from your PC installation of the game:

1. Grab YuNo.apk from the GitHub releases page and install it.
2. Create a folder named YuNo in your phone's internal storage (/sdcard/YuNo/).
3. Copy your game files.ARC files (zMES.ARC, zDATA.ARC, zBG.ARC, etc.), AI5ENG.INI, sound effects, and voice folders (VOICE_A, VOICE_B, VOICE_C) into that folder.
4. Open the app and play.

Sorry if this was requested here before because I have been so heartbroken by the Jun Maeda news going on that I need a soothing visual novel right now.

Like what I want is a cost romance story about a young guy looking for some love in a rural town as systems that I want to play such a game on are 3DS, Vita, Xbox and PC as again hearing about what what Jun Maeda is going through is sad.

Haven't seen anyone discuss this one here but the demo is out, I played like an hour or so and I think its quite good so far. Cant say much about the story with the little I played so far but the presentation and visuals are really good.
