Mexico visa for Indian

• Upvotes

27/F

I have to attend a friend’s wedding in Mexico in JAN’27.
I am currently collecting all the visa requirement docs. I don’t have US,UK,etc visa. Travel history only Thailand & Vietnam. So, my first major visa.
Kinda panicking because the docs requirement is too extensive.
They are asking for PAN Card/ passport of people signing my salary slips?!? It is such an insane demand to be honest.

Currently, I have all documents waiting for my friends wedding card which she has posted from US. After that I will book the appointment.
For Indians who have recently applied for Mexico visa. Please tell me your experience and I would like to know in details as I really don’t want to miss this wedding.

Plus please recommend some nice places to visit (hopefully I will have my visa.

Thanks in advance 🙌🏼

Japan Japan Visa - Question regarding bank balance

• Upvotes

I am planning to travel to Japan as a tourist from India, and I intend to apply for my visa next week at the VFS Global center in Pune.

I have a query regarding my bank balance: since most of my funds, over 10 lakhs, are held in fixed deposits with only about 1.7 lakhs in my savings account, will this cause an issue during the visa approval process, or should I break my fixed deposits to demonstrate a higher liquid balance?

Getting married after applying for a Japan tourist visa — has anyone experienced this?

Hi! Has anyone applied for a Japan tourist visa while single, then gotten married right before their trip?

My partner and I plan to apply for our visas in March 2027, have our civil wedding in April, and travel to Japan in May. Assuming our visas get approved, would getting married after applying cause any issues when travelling? She intends to keep her maiden name.

Would we need to inform the embassy or submit additional documents after getting married? Did anyone experience this? Thank you!

Bahrain work visa: do I need degree attestation, and what did you submit? (Indian, degree from Spain)

Hi all, I might be moving to Bahrain as a software engineer at a bank. I’m Indian, but my degree is from Spain.

Two questions:

  1. Will I need to get my degree attested for the work visa? If yes, how does it work for a Spanish degree?
  2. For anyone who’s processed a work visa recently: which documents did you submit, and how long did it actually take? I know the official timeline is around 21 days, but I’d like to know what it looks like in practice.

HongKong Transit Visa

Hello I am an Iranian passport holder living and working in Canada with a work permit. I am planing to visit Thailand in the beginning of November. I got approved for Thai Visa but did not know I needed a HK Transit Visa as well so I applied 3 days ago and Got my Acknowledgment letter yesterday October 16th.

My flight leaves Toronto to HK on November 5th and I am stressed about getting my Transit Visa before that. Has anyone had a similar experience? If so I appreciate your comments on how to expedite this process and make sure I get my visa on time. Thank you!

Asia Can i change my port of entry than what mentioned in visa application?

So I had to cancel my ticket what I presented at the embassy and book one for another city instead of the city mentioned as port of entry in my visa application. Would that be a problem at immigration while departing or at arrivals?

Demoras evisa KSA

Gracias

Europe Applying Irish Tourist Visa While Unemployed

Hi everyone! I’m a Philippine passport holder living in the US and I recently got my green card but currently unemployed.

My wife (employed & US citizen) and I are planning to visit my sister in Ireland for a maximum of 5 days in January. My sister is a permanent resident and will be staying at her place during our visit.

We have a joint bank account and utility bills in our names and address. We could also get a invitation letter from my sister.

For those with similar experiences:
Has anyone been approved while unemployed but travelling with employed spouse?
Is it okay to submit an application but having my spouse’s paystubs and our bank statements as proof?

I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you! 😊

Europe Irish short-stay C tourist visa - processing times?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out the process for a friend to visit me in Ireland. They'd require a single-entry short-stay visa. The visit is tourism/friends, not work or study. The friend would be coming from Indonesia, and the application would (as far as I can tell) have to go through the Dublin office.

From what I can find, you have to apply up to three months before your planned date of travel, and then when you get the visa it's valid for 90 days.

However, when I look at the latest information on processing times, it seems to say that they're currently processing "Tourism or visit a family/friend" visa applications from 07 October 2025, more than a year ago. Obviously if someone applied for that in October 2025 with a planned travel date within 90 days then their plans would be completely scuppered by this wait time.

Am I misreading this? Are those processing times actually for longer-term tourism visas and the short-stay visa is actually safely under 90 days of processing time? Is this tracked anywhere or is it just a black box? Has anyone else recently applied and can they advise on their experience?

Asia Singapore Visa Query

Hi, I’m an Indian citizen planning to visit my family in Malaysia. The most convenient option for me is to fly into and out of Singapore, as it is the closest airport to my family.

However, I don’t intend to stay in Singapore. My family will pick me up from the airport, and we’ll travel by car across the land border into Malaysia, where I’ll be staying with them.

While filling out Singapore Visa Form 14A, I came across the question regarding my place of stay in Singapore. Am I required to book accommodation and stay overnight in Singapore, or can I indicate that I’ll be transiting through Singapore without staying there and provide my family’s residential address in Malaysia instead?

I’d appreciate any guidance on how to correctly fill out this section of the application.

Thank you!

Schengen Extremely frustrated with Atlys and their visa assistance service.

I applied for a visa to France through Atlys.

Paid close to ₹6,000 for their premium service because my visa appointment was in just four days and I was already working 10+ hours a day, so thought it would be good to get some help in having an organised visa docket. I thought it would save me time, but it’s been the complete opposite.

Every time I reached out with a query, I was assigned a new agent who had no context about my application. Now, just days before my Monday appointment, they’ve sent me a very generic visa docket with a vague cover letter and bookings whose PNRs I couldn’t verify.

When I asked them to provide verifiable bookings, they simply said they don’t have that format and I could arrange it myself.

Like, what exactly am I paying ₹6,000 for?

I understand they can’t guarantee a visa, but I at least expected proper assistance and documents that are usable.

:/

Europe Ask about a document for visa D1.Portugal

Hello friends, currently my partner is in a process to come to live in Portugal through the D1 visa, he is currently in the final process of interviews, but to obtain the visa in the requirements appears the following:

Declaração do Trabalho Profissional Subordinado do IEFP.

I was checking on the Internet, chat gpt and others but I can't find clear enough information.Does anyone know what this document refers to or how can I have it?

I don't know if it matters, but she is doing the process at the Portuguese embassy in Bogota, Colombia.

Visa

My mom is visiting from India on a multiple-entry visa that expires at the end of January. I’m thinking of taking her to Mexico and then returning to the U.S. before she flies back to India. Has anyone had issues re-entering the U.S. after traveling to a third country while on a tourist visa?

Japan Tourist Visa from India: ITR, Salary and NOC Requirements

Hi all,

I am planning a trip to Japan next month with my partner and would appreciate some advice regarding the tourist visa.

My ITR is around ₹5 lakh, and my monthly salary is around ₹30,000. Is this sufficient for a Japan tourist visa?
Any chance of getting visa ?

I spoke to a travel agency representative who told me that an ITR of ₹8–10 lakh is required. Is this really necessary, or can a visa be approved with a lower ITR?

Next is if my company does not provide an NOC, can I still apply for the visa? Would it affect my chances of approval?

Is there any minimum salary requirement for an employed person applying for a Japan tourist visa?

I would really appreciate it if anyone who has recently applied for a Japan visa from India could share their experience and suggestions.

Returned Japan Tourist visa

Hi everyone,

I’m Vietnamese living in Australian. I got returned visa application in 1 day (not Rejected) with “The funds shown in your bank statement are not considered sufficient to cover your stay in Japan”.

My context is:
- Occupation: fulltime IT
- International travel: Korea, Malay
- Stay duration: 2 weeks
- Flights/ accommodation: booked and paid
- Finance: 3500$ holiday account + 900 everyday account

I have attached my paid flights + 1-month transaction records for both account + recent 3m payslips.

———
Since my flight + accom are booked for, which costs 2500$ already. The remaining ~4000$ is reasonable enough for 2 weeks food+activities (at least in my pov).

After receiving the returned notification, I top up my holiday account to 5000$ and add 3-months transaction records as advised. Then I add a Note for officer that basically said flight + accom costs 2500$ and 5000$ is to spend.

But I’m scared to submit a new application again. I saw a few posts on here that get Terminated/ Rejected after 2 times failed submission (Returned)

—————

I’m still not sure if it’ll be considered “sufficient” enough.

Do you guys have any advice about how much the fund should be?
