Anyone else also think this? If you don't know the movie Until Dawn it changes the lore from the first game. Instead of only a supernatural curse in the mountains that turns people into Wendigos if you resort to cannibalism. In the movie it's like a weird entity or place that can pull people into it and then can turn you into a Wendigo by repeatedly dying or something and/or they r manifestations of the main characters depression and fears. Obviously ppl didn't like the movie.
My main reason for this is because in the first trailer for Until Dawn 2, Peter Stormare's character makes an appearance. He's also in the movie as the main human antagonist. He's able to control or has some control or something of the otherwordly occurrence. And in the second trailer the characters in the game encounter a Wendigo as well in a snowy mountain. Presumably that's before events before they move to the main location of Until Dawn 2. Ig they are investigating the events of the first game in the same mountain lodge. A little other piece of evidence that I remember, is that supposedly Sony wanted Supermassive (the devs of Until Dawn) to continue Until Dawn as a franchise and make it into a series. They didn't really want to so they left.
Now I know this isn't a whole lot to go off of, but it really gives me the feeling that they want to or will try incorporating the movie logic into the game. What do you guys think?
Tldr, based off of the stuff in the trailers they have released so far, I think that they may try to put the UD movie lore into the games
