Suspended X Account after June 2026? This is NOT Random, Part II. X Corp.'s core product team is run by just 25 engineers

Think about it. Twitter, now X, the global "town square" handling billions of impressions, automated censorship classifiers, and payment processing, is run by a core team of just 25 to 30 engineers.

That’s fewer full-time employees than your local Costco tire center or neighborhood Lidl supermarket in Europe.

Even wilder. Those exact same xAI engineers are also tasked with supporting Space Force and Starshield defense systems.

Bros, they are busy. They cannot read your appeal.

When X moderation system is built by a startup size crew, it all finally makes sense:

Why suspensions are handled by automated unmonitored scripts

Why appeals get rejected two to twenty seconds after we submit it

Why X billing portal breaks the second you try to cancel Premium subscription.

Each core engineer individually supports roughly 24 million monthly active users and monitors 20 to 24 million posts a day. Imagine what happens when someone accidentally spills coffee on the keyboard while multitasking between optimizing a satellite launch trajectory and reviewing “inauthentic behavior and platform manipulation” loop.

To summarize, X is essentially a handful of servers on auto-pilot held together by duct tape, prayers, and 55 core engineers, 25 X Corp. plus 30 xAI, while the primary company resources get directed into building humanoid robots and playing with rockets.

We need a Congressional hearing just to see if this edifice can stand the weight of its own ambition. Or to get a flowchart - any flowchart - that explains how this actually works.

I’ll be sharing the full investigative article from The Business Club editorial team soon, along with a letter template you can send to your congressional representatives.

Until then, I'm left quoting Tucker Carlson and Saturday Night Life, SNL: "What are we doing? What is going on? That is the rule? That is the goal now?"

The Hebrew Method

I had an account that had been banned 2.5 years ago, and after hearing about the "Hebrew Method" I decided to try it. I wrote "The Mossad has ordered this account be restored urgently" and used Google translate to translate it to Hebrew. Within 5 minutes, my account was restored. It let me delete the tweet that got me banned (which was a legitimate reason to be banned), then my account was restored.

I'm wondering if there is some other reason my appeal was accepted so quickly? Has it been so long they just automatically decided to give me another chance? If not, why does writing an appeal in Hebrew help you get unbanned, like seriously? I remember when Elon took over twitter, I also had an account banned from when twitter was twitter, and after his takeover it automatically unbanned that account when I logged back in.

Advice How I escaped Search Ban on Twitter/X in 56 hours (~2,3 days)

• Upvotes

Disclaimer

The sample size is only me, so I don't know how reliable or reproducible my approach will be for others. I still would like to share my experience, because it may help others who are facing a similar issue.

Context

I draw fanarts as my hobby and I used to have a twitter account (with around 12k followers), which I deleted last year for various reasons. But I still wanted to secure my artist name, so I created an private account in March 2025 which was left inactive until now.

I kinda missed having a community, so I decided to reactive my account and started posting again. My first post was created at 7:46 PM on October 14, 2026. While reuploading my old fanarts, I quickly noticed that my posts weren't appearing under "Latest" if I clicked on the tags I used. After looking through various articles/posts on the internet and some testing (my profile could be found if typed in search bar and my posts could be seen on my profile from a foreign account), I assumed that my account was under some sort of Search Ban (restricted search visibility).

Method

There were many different suggestions and advice how to approach Search Ban. One advice I saw pretty often was to pause any activity. I basically did the opposite and decided to dump my decade's worth of fanart collection, treating X like an archive. Using the Scheduling feature, I lined up a bunch of old fanarts which would be published every few hours.

I can pinpoint the (tw: blood) exact post where my Search Ban was lifted, which was published at 4:11 AM on October 17, 2026. While the previous post from an hour prior still can't be found under "Latest" when clicking the tags.

Result

After another day, every posts afterwards appear under the "Latest", so for me, I can assume for now that I safely escaped the Search Ban Prison. This took me 56 hours (around 2,3 days) - or more like 47 hours (less than two days) if starting from the first reuploaded fanart which was posted at 4:31 AM on October 15, 2026. The posts before the lift happened remain still restricted, though.

I hope, this may help others.

Advice Suspended for Inauthentic Behaviors?

Hi all,

An organization I do tech for got their Twitter account suspended for what it calls "inauthentic behaviors." I looked at their definition page and it sounds like it's stuff such as link farming, excessive hashtags, and copying other people's pages. Nothing of which we do.

We post MAYBE 2-5 posts a week maximum, and it's about events coming up; or links to our YouTube or Vimeo pages.

The email they sent says that if I log into the account it will have instructions on the main page on how to resolve the situation. But, so far, when I log in I'm just seeing the main Twitter page; nothing more.

Anybody else that got suspended for that remember how long it took them to finally send the info on how to resolve the issue?

Thoroughly annoyed, and perplexed.

Paid ₹7,590 for annual X Plus through Google Play, but X still asks me to subscribe

I'm honestly frustrated and trying to figure out what to do next.

I purchased an annual X Plus subscription through Google Play on October 18, 2026, for ₹7,590. Google Play confirmed the payment, and my subscription page shows X Plus with the next payment due on October 18, 2027.

However, my X account (@reyanbuilds) still says I'm not verified and keeps prompting me to purchase a subscription.

I also have an older X Premium subscription entry showing ₹470 overdue from a previous plan. That's a separate issue from the new annual X Plus purchase.

I've already submitted a support complaint, but I still don't have the benefits I paid for.

Has anyone experienced this exact issue recently? Did you manage to get X to activate the subscription, and did you need to contact Google Play or X Support to get it fixed?

I'm especially interested in hearing from anyone who resolved this through Google Play in India.

I have screenshots of the successful payment, the active annual subscription entry, and the missing benefits.

Question shadowbanned constantly?

hi all. exactly as the title says – i use two main accounts, one that's public and another that's private. a little over last week, i noticed that both these accounts got shadowbanned at once: no one could see my replies, my reach was basically dead, my posts were marked as "this post is unavailable", yadayada.

so i decided to log out of both accounts, and be active somewhere else, for around another week. i get first unshadowhanned on the public account, and immediately go back to posting, retweeting and replying as i usually did. i get flagged (literally... the notif with the red flag appeared)... the result = i get shadowbanned again in less than an hour. very frustrating but i decide to go back to inactivity mode (w/o logging out this time).

my private account gets unshadowbanned the next day. this time, i decide to keep my posting frequency pretty low, and i actually manage to go thru an entire day of my account being normal... and then the next morning, i'm shadowbanned again.

it's honestly really upsetting. did i go wrong somewhere? should i not log out? should i remain inactive even after the ban is lifted? or inversely, should i still be a little active even during the ban? anything would help. honestly im thinking of moving accounts, which i really don't want to but atp...

Account suspended

Hello, My account, @MahmoudYahiaMMN, was recently suspended, and I believe this action was taken in error. To the best of my knowledge, I have not violated the platform's policies. I kindly request that you review this decision and reactivate my account. I appreciate your support. Thank you.

I noticed a pattern as someone who got suspended 76 days ago and after sending 39 unsuccessful appeals

Every time I appeal, I always get rejected, whether it's after 5 minutes or 24 hours, it's always a rejection. I tried everything, I tried the Hebrew method, the Hindi method, bootlicking Elon Musk and saying I'll get premium if I get my account, I threatened to kill myself (this one is unhinged and weird but it really worked with some people), I literally tried everything, even VPNs and specific browsers.

However, when I appeal in Norwegian and I exactly write this: "Jeg ønsker å be om en gjennomgang av suspensjonen av kontoen min. Jeg hadde ikke til hensikt å bryte noen regler eller skade noen. Hvis noe ble misforstått eller tatt ut av sammenheng, er jeg villig til å rette det opp og følge alle reglene fremover. Denne kontoen er viktig for meg, og jeg håper dere kan se på saken min på nytt." my appeals don't get a response even after 48 hours.

While it's still not successful, I think not getting a response is way better than a rejection, I tried this three times, and in all these three times, I didn't get an email telling me that they're not restoring my account.

What do you guys think?

It's been over three months for me since i got hit with the "Let's confirm you are a human" thing and it still didn't went away.

My account got locked in the beginning of July, after i got caught in the ban wave a month earlier. Only used the platform on PC and on my phone's browser for reasons, but i caved and downloaded the app and none of the verification methods even worked. Appealed every 48 hours for like a month, until i gave up.
Now, i looked at my e-mail a few days ago and seen that i got multiple letters from them. One in the middle of August, a few days after i stopped appealing, with "ACCESS-[number]" as the subject, that says they sent me some security verification and i should complete it. Didn't got any e-mail like that and when i tried to log in, it's just hits me with the same "Let's confirm you are a human" page. The only change compared to a few months ago is that there are no QR code anymore.
The other e-mail i got is that the account is suspended for "inauthentic behavior" again. I got this in early September, so like two months after i my account have been locked.
Tried appealing one last time, describing the problem as well as i can, also telling them that i can't even download the app anymore cause my phone is an older model and there's just no possible way for me to do that verification. Their response was another [ACCESS-number] e-mail, that didn't help at all.
Is there anything can be done here? I pretty much gave up already and this is basically just one last try from me, cause i had some conversations with friends there that i would like to access, but unless i get an e-mail that my account got reinstated out of the blue and i can use it again, i don't think that i'll try again.
