Helping my in laws with their pool. You’d think with as many pools as there are in Tulsa you could find reputable help. I live 10-12 mins north of Sand Springs.

So we payed to have a salt conversion done. They did half the job and never came back. I’m pretty handy so I ended up finishing the job. With winter approaching we need to do whatever you need to do to winterize a salt pool. Does anybody have a recommendation for a company that will service my area and possibly teach me what needs to be done? I’ve called several of the major companies and get the same “we don’t service that area”. They’re 12–15 minutes from downtown Tulsa and 10-12 north of Sand
Springs.

I'm a first-time homebuyer here in Tulsa. My very first utility bill just arrived, and it was over $1,000 for all utilities combined! I know a huge chunk of that includes all the initial setup fees and deposits, but it's still quite a shock.

Like everyone else, I'm already frustrated dealing with PSO, but I really want to check on the City of Tulsa utility side. My water/sewer bill alone is almost $140.

For a standard household, is a $140 bill normal for this time of year? I want to make sure I don't have a hidden leak somewhere or if this is just the baseline reality of Tulsa utility rates.

I know Dress For Success is a good place to donate women's dress clothing to. Do they also accept men's suits? My husband has lost the equivalent of a high schooler and we have several suits to donate. I will never donate to Goodwill but want them to go where they will be needed and used.

Shout out to John from Berryhill. I lost my wallet at Riverparks. After 2 hours of searching everywhere he came to my house and returned it with everything in tact. I was so happy to see it that I offered him the $100 dollar bill I had in it. But being the Good Samaritan he turned it down. So I offered him a 20. Thankfully he took it.
