Experimentally disabling cross-posts
If this sucks we can revert it, but a lot of really garbage submissions are crossposts; it's easy to just make the same post here again if you actually care about what you're posting, anyway.

I will pay an absurd amount of money for this bear
Listen, this bear was my everything. This bear helped me through my parents divorce and a suicide attempt ten years later. I lost her on a road trip and it was devastating. I’ve tried to find a replacement so many times and searches always come up short.
I won her at a carnival in 2005. If anyone has this bear, (or the brown version of her,) I will pay $300. This bear is probably worth like $2. That’s how important this is to me.

Baboon Sweet Banana Blue Coin Bank - What does it say ?
I got the same at the office. In the manual it is said that the baboon either says "Hello" or "Thank you".
I hardly hear that, perhaps it is said in another language, does anyone know what that baboon is saying at the start of it's animation ?

Is it okay to repaint old lead soldiers like this one or leave it as is?
I recently got some old lead soldiers from I believe the 1930's. Only problem is most of them are missing a lot of paint. I don't know if I should repaint them or if I should just leave them as is. What do you think?

Looking for a 2000s Robot Action Figure with Modular Car Armor (Help me identify it!) THE ATTACHED IMAGE IS FOR VISUAL REFERENCE ONLY, NOT THE ACTUAL FIGURE I'M LOOKING FOR
Hi everyone!
This anonymous collector is presenting themselves to the world of toy hunters, nostalgic enthusiasts, and collectors. I am on an almost DESPERATE search to identify an action figure from my childhood. I don't even necessarily need to buy it right now (though I would if given the chance!), I just desperately need to find out its name or franchise to finally identify it.
Context: I'm currently 25 years old and from Argentina. I got this toy somewhere between 2005 and 2009. It was my companion for many years and I truly loved it. I've been searching for it on the internet for years—browsing through franchises, toy lines, manufacturers, etc.—so as a last resort, I'm turning to 2000s action figure experts and fans.
General Description
It was a humanoid ROBOT figure, about 12 cm / 4.5 inches tall, and extremely articulated for the standards I had as a kid.
- Color/Details: Dark matte color, with a red logo on the chest (I recall it looking like a dragon's head).
- Accessories: It came with two black spring-loaded missile launchers that fitted into its hands. The projectiles were red with a flame-like tip.
- The Car Armor: The most remarkable feature was that it came with a RED car that was completely modular/dismantable. It disassembled entirely so you could equip the pieces onto the robot as a suit of armor. In terms of scale, the car was barely larger than the figure itself, so the robot couldn't sit inside as a driver.
Detailed Memories & Specs
1. Articulation
- Head: Highly articulated; could rotate 360°, tilt side-to-side, up and down, etc.
- Shoulders: Allowed wide abduction and adduction ranges.
- Elbows: Single hinge allowing a bit over 90° flexion.
- Wrists/Hands: Rotated 360°, fixed in a sculpted grip position to hold weapons.
- Torso: Split into two main sections: Chest (connected to arms and head) and Hips/Waist. They connected via a joint that allowed an unnatural forward bend, folding the chest almost perpendicular to the hips.
- Hips & Legs: Ball-jointed hips. Simple hinge joints at the knees for standard flexion.
- Feet: Good mobility, but with a very distinct hinge joint right at the tip of the toes (a toe-bend joint near the front, not mid-foot).
2. Appearance
- Overall Look: 100% a robot (definitely not a human in armor or a suit).
- Head: Green painted eyes with a serious/villainous expression. A sharp, stylized straight jawline and a subtle crest on top of the head detailed in gray.
- Chest: Somewhat square proportions (balanced vertical and horizontal planes) with the painted red dragon-like emblem.
- Waist/Hips: Triangular shape.
- Arms: Gray sculpted details on the forearms. Hands fixed in a grip stance.
- Legs: Sculpted mechanical details giving it a realistic robot look, especially on the back of the thighs. The front of the legs had cleaner, flatter cuts with gray details.
- Feet: Simple, flat, rectangular design without heavy sculpt details, featuring the toe hinge.
3. Materials & Build Quality
The materials felt very high-quality (at least by my childhood standards).
- The torso was made of rigid hard plastic (likely the only rigid piece).
- The head and limbs were made of a very hard, dense rubber-like material, though not a brittle/rigid plastic.
4. Extra Clues & Details
- The figure had peg holes across its body where the disassembled car pieces plugged in as armor.
- Riot Shield: The car's roof and windshield formed a single semi-transparent black piece that doubled as a full-body riot shield, equipped with a handle so the robot could hold it.
- (Vague memory) I think you could somehow "hide" or fold the robot underneath the car frame since they were roughly the same size.
- For anyone in Argentina: I vaguely remember seeing it displayed in the window of a Naldo Lombardi store (a classic local electronics/home appliance chain).
5. Visual Reference / Vibe
While searching online, I stumbled upon Bandai's D.I.C.E. (DNA Integrated Cyber Codes) action figures. The proportions, shoulder joints, and visual material finish reminded me a lot of this toy. (Note: Adding this purely as a visual reference point, though I don't want to accidentally derail the search if it's unrelated!)
Any leads, toy line names, manufacturers, or images would be immensely appreciated! Thank you!

I went thrifting today and found the exact easy bake oven that got taken off shelves after a little girl lost her finger. It also came with all the extra stuff! This got taken off shelves before I was born but I’m excited to see how it works!

Unicorn toys/figures/dolls that aren't colorful and chibi-like?
I love unicorns, I think they're great. One of my top 5 mythological creatures! I also love collecting toy figures. I have a ton of Schleich ones, but the quality of their figures has visibly dropped in recent years...
I digress. Anyways, I want unicorns!! Of course, most of your casual unicorn toys will be round eyesores meant for 3 year-olds. And that's totally okay! But when I think of unicorn figures, I want something more like The Last Unicorn and less like My Little Pony, y'know? I'm particularly fond of when unicorns sport a tuft on their chin, and lion-like tails.
I had a look at Schleich, Safari and Papo unicorns, and none of them really catch my eye, so I'm curious to know if anyone has cool suggestions!

Make a wish sillybandz crossover?
Found this while going through some old boxes and was curious about these but can't find anything online about them. Are these a cool collectible for the sillybandz scene?

Trying to ID this defaced plastic toy, found at my desk at work. Approx 1 inch tall, 3/4 inch wide. Hole in bottom, possible pencil topper or decapitated action figure. Can anyone help ID the character or actor it's based on?

Info on this toy?
Hi all. Just posting this to see if anyone has any information on this toy. My dad got me into LoTR when I was a little boy (I’m 28 now) and he found this toy at a garage sale many years ago and got it for me.
It’s a Ringwraith toy that Burger King released in 2001 with the release of the first film I believe.
I was just wondering if anyone might have info if there were other figures released too or any other information on it. If there’s a set I’d love to hunt them down. It’s a bit of a stretch but thought I’d try posting here.
Thanks!
