The mods deleted my memorial post of Maple. I just wanted to share her with others now that I was ready to. Because they probably didn't like Maple's preserved body, here are more pictures of her alive.

After a month of waiting, she's finally with me. First day, and she's already sleeping next to me(even on me), playing and has explored my room entirely! She's such a sweet girl ā¤ļø!

This is Linda. We adopted her from shelter three years ago. She had been there for months and when she popped me in the face, I knew she was coming home with us. Linda is a huntress, a killer. She gifts us with crickets from the basement, mice, and one time, much to my husband's chagrin, a snake. She climbs everywhere and anywhere. She chases her tail, she tries to eat flies, she is constantly on the move. She is insane and has earned the nickname Goblin-da.
Above all, Linda needs STIMULATION! More than any other cat I've ever had. Our 12 year old rag doll will only engage in so much grab-assery before he tires out and wants to return to him armchair throne for a nap.
Linda enjoys the wand toy with feathers/bell, she likes chasing balls and sometimes springs. She was not interested in the wooden thing with balls inside it that you can push round in circles. She's indifferent to toy mice. We don't have space for a running wheel but I think she'd love one. She's grown bored with a lot of her toys so I am asking for inspiration from fellow Tortie people. What toy does your cat go nuts for??

Weāre adopting one of our foster kittens! Sheās a cuddly angel currently called Saoirse. My husband named her when she came to us as an emergency foster. Itās a beautiful name but weāre looking for a name thatās quick and easy to say for us Americans. š But I swear I come up with a new idea every day.
- Binx
- Honey
- Boo
- Spooky
- Cinnamon
- Winnie
- Rosie
- Pumpkin
Names ending with an āeeeā sound feel more natural. Even when I called her Binx for a few days I ended up calling her Binky!
Swipe for her baby pictures! š¤

When I was looking to adopt this year, I really had my heart set on getting a boy tuxedo, but I had a fateful encounter with my Penny girl. I was at the shelter looking at a bunch if different cats and she was at the very top of a cat tower looking down on me and projectile vomitted on the cats below.
I knew she was the one.
She's by far the quirkiest cat I've ever had, she's super squeaky, will only eat food in airplane mode (I thought it was an anxiety thing, but I've had her for months now, she just does that), and she has a LOT of what I now know is tortitude. She's extremely anxious around strangers, but after warming up to me, she is the cuddliest cat I've ever had, and she likes somewhat aggressive petting lol. If I'm not petting her hard enough, she starts pushing her head into my hands and doing flips in my lap until I put enough elbow grease into it lol.
At her first vet visit, they told me she's a tortie and I only recently googled if there's stereotypes for them, and everything I'm seeing fits her to a T lmaooo
