Offset diamond roll

These three were fun to do.
All were Dye Over Crushed ice on a slight incline at 6% dye by weight. I prefer crushed ice with rolls as I get better dye splits and flows around the roll in the gutter. Imo.
First is just Pillars of Creation dye. I was worried when washing it as it was very dark but it came out very nice.
Second is only two dyes. First is Mindbender X at the top half with Sugar Plum the bottom half(both Dyespin dyes)
Third is neat but I think I can do better and that is Fire Sphene to Actias Luna.
What do y'all think?

Felt the itch this weekend to create something beautiful.
First time attempting a wig wag style an I absolutely love how it came out!
Revitalised an old shirt with a quick reverse dye job and got some sweet looking tiger stripes.
Accidentally dyed my daughter's jumper and muslin from previous shirt so figured I would fix it with more dye 😆

119 posts from 77 dyers.
u/RadioactiveCoyotes has 62 posts and 2,953 points in r/tiedye: 21 posts in 2025 and 41 so far this year. Their first post here was "Geodes" in July 2025. (see it) That makes just over 15 months of work, and the top three posts from each year are below.
Jul 9: my latest batch ➜ 178 pts
Sep 6: fresh sick dyes ➜ 149 pts
Sep 16: A mellow spiral ➜ 135 pts
Jan 20: moss covered stone ➜ 143 pts
Jul 2: My first deities ➜ 123 pts
Aug 4: this one melts my brain a little ➜ 104 pts
Oct 15, 2026: big sunset vibes ➜ 12 pts
Geodes were the first post and they never left. Nine titles mention them, from Geodes (73 pts) to CWI geode on Wednesday. some more geodes was the best of them at 81 pts, and I love these chaotic side tie geodes followed it with 77 last July.
Deities showed up in July 2026 and stuck. My first deities took 123 pts on July 2, and the word appears in four later titles: in love with deities (89), another deity (10), trippy forest vibes on this deity (38) and my latest deity roll (49) on Oct 1.
September 2025 had nine posts, led by fresh sick dyes at 149 pts. This August had six in nine days, led by this one melts my brain a little at 104 pts, then nothing until Sep 11. Each burst contains one of that year's top three.
This week was four posts in four days, Oct 12 to 15: X folds (22 pts), Fresh psy roll (62), CWI geode (24) and big sunset vibes (12). Fresh psy roll led the four.
Thank you for sharing 🙇🌈

60 new tie-dye videos came into the catalog this week. Six of the seven most-viewed came from one channel, saree_designer78: six short Bandhani-style videos, the biggest a rainbow diamond at 301K views. The rest of the pile is process work. Brother Brent's Dyes posted ten Airplane Fold episodes in seven days, from "Find the Center with One Line" to "Where a Mandala Starts, One Line", and Adam Unterreiner posted eight ice dye process videos, from a black spiral swirl to a hoodie galaxy.
You can filter all of it by technique and method, so the ice dye videos sit apart from the folds. Link's in my flair and on my profile.
Still figuring out what's useful here vs. what's just numbers. If there's something you'd want to see covered (a technique that's been everywhere lately, a creator worth spotlighting, a question the sub keeps circling), drop it below, please. DMs are open too if you'd rather not post publicly. "How can I help?" is my favorite question to ask.

I usually am very particular about blanks for shirts, and Comfort Colors is by far my favorite, but I had this bag lying around and was wondering how it would fare for tie-dying. I have worn Hanes shirts before and they feel fine although not the best out there. Thank you in advance!

I'm having trouble thinking of ideas for gravity dyeing setups. Of course I've used incline setups in ice-dye and HWI, and just yesterday I tried a cardboard box with a soda bottle cut from both ends stuffed with ice and a t-shirt hanging in the bottom (haven't inspected the results yet).
But I'm wondering what kind of setups people here are using?
If you have pics, please share.
I'm planning on ordering a bunch of things from Amazon and I would like to add gravity dye related things to my order.

wanted to focus on using white as color on this one. It’s funny that i used to have so many problems with getting full saturation that now im coming full circle with problems trying to keep areas white. life is just like that sometimes

Hi everybody. I just wanted to say hi and see what people think. I’ve been lurking for a bit and just decided to give it a shot.

I noticed when I mix colors using lemon yellow or turquoise, they form a ring around the mixed dye, see third picture. So I mixed equal parts lemon yellow, turquoise, and fuchsia and dyed one side of a scrunch to get these results. It guarantees that there will be a different color between the main, and the base shirts color. I’m super happy with it and will definitely use this in the future
