Doctor recommendations for a young woman with anxiety?

Hi! Looking for GP recommendations in Hamilton. I’d love an understanding, compassionate doctor who is good with anxiety disorders. Affordability is also important, so any recommendations for reasonably priced clinics would be appreciated. Thank you! 💗

Car Crash on 20th Oct at Anglesea/Anzac Parade roundabout

Hello,

Yesterday a family member was involved in a car crash at the Cobham Drive/Anglesea Street/Anzac Parade roundabout. His car, a white 2004 Toyota Corolla Runx, entered the roundabout from Anzac Parade in the right inside lane, intending to exit at the third exit (Anglesea Street). As this was late afternoon, there was a lot of traffic. He waited in traffic going around the roundabout and stopping behind the Keep clear sections. When the road was clear, and it was free for him to go he indicated left to signal his exit and drove forward onto Anglesea. Then a dark blue car (unknown make/model) quickly drove to catch up with the traffic ahead and into his path. He had no time to break and collided with the blue car.

He is a very young adult, this was his first crash and he was understandably very nervous even though it wasn’t his fault. No one got out to help anyone, as the cars were in the middle of the road most people were instead beeping and yelling to move. The driver of the blue car did not move to a safe area, which my family member was intending to do to safely get information, instead she got out in the middle of the road and was very quiet, simply asking for details and then quickly walking back to her car and driving off. Still in shock and getting increasingly anxious from the cars around, he only managed to get the drivers name and number. The way his car had collided with her car meant that if he were to get her number plate, he would have to walk around either end of his car onto oncoming traffic, and before he could do so safely the other driver had already taken off.

He explained the situation to his insurance, and they said from the sounds of it he wasn’t at fault, and that they would pay out completely with $0 excess. he gave the persons information that he had. Later the insurance company called back and said that the number was invalid, and that she had given him false information. I helped him file a 105 police report as clearly the blue car drivers quick escape and quietness was suspicious in hindsight, and she likely did not have insurance. His car has since been written off due to the damage. Now without the correct information, if the other driver cannot be found and her information given to his insurance company, he will likely have to pay the full excess.

Now, of course getting the number plate could have made this much easier in terms of not having to pay the insurance excess. I acknowledge he did fail to get the most important information. But as said before, he is a young and shy kid, and it was a very difficult stressful situation, and the other drivers quick and uncooperative behavior didn’t help. The whole situation happened in a matter of thirty seconds, in the rush and stress he simply couldn’t get all the info he needed.

He is asking on behalf of me, if anyone at all possibly has any dashcam footage of this incident. This happened at approximately 3:50pm-3:55pm. Here is an image of the exact location. If anyone at all can recall being near this location around the same time, may have witnessed the crash or has footage, please message me. He has lost his car, so this is already a loss. But he’s just hoping he doesn’t have to pay the extra excess on top. It’s definitely a lesson to know how to handle this situation better in the future. Thank you.

Lathe

Bit of a weird request but does Anyone local have a lathe I could use or know someone who does? Looking to open up the inner bore of my hub-centric spacers from 56.1mm to 57.1mm. Just need all four done. Happy to pay for someone’s time. Cheers!

Locations not a bother. I work in Hamilton but live in Putaruru.
