I saw a post on Reddit a while ago featuring a panda tattoo, and I instantly fell in love with it. Finally got it tattooed yesterday!

I keep looking at my tattoo thinking it doesn’t look complete. Like I mean it’s complete but it doesn’t look balanced. I was trying to think of ways I might be able to make it look more “finished” but I don’t want anything too big. And the idea of a third pawprint in the obvious spot would make the tattoo look kind of like a rectangle. Whereas, I always envisioned an organic shape.

I do like the idea of the galaxy, but as it looks right now, I have to point the galaxy out to people instead of it being obvious.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what I might be able to do? Or am I just crazy and it looks perfectly balanced the way it is?

Hiya this week I have 2 back to back day sessions booked starting at 11am (finish time unknown) what are somethings I should know before going in? Obviously I should bring food for lunch and some snacks but how much is too much or too little. Should I bring chargers? What should I expect? Any advice appreciated thank you!!

I love the newest addition to my arm, a sweet mourning dove. I’ve also included a photo showing him next to my existing bunny tattoo.
I’m thinking of adding a squirrel next to complete my nature-themed arm. It’s becoming a meaningful collection, all of these animals I see when walking with my dog, which I love to do!

So i got this tattoo while I was in Japan by the talented Uma from ZZZink and i want to continue it into a sleeve with traditional japanese motives but im not sure how I can connect the tattoos coherently together. If any of you have Japanese patchwork sleeves would you mind showing me for Inspiration?

She did a wonderful job doing a line drawing of my pup based on this photo. I love the finished result but several people have asked me when I go back to “finish it” and “have it shaded in”.

My artist rocks and says it’s totally up to me, i wasn’t planning to, but now I’m wondering if it should be shaded? New to tattoos, this is only #4 for me so explain it like I’m 5 if you don’t mind.

I like the (custom) design of my new tattoo (~1 month), so that's not the issue for me. Healing was unproblematic. But now some things that make me insecure have gradually emerged; small blowouts, some lines are faded, the color has come off in some spots and some scarring (see pictures).

I chose the artist because I really like their previous work. However, the process and communication was really difficult, he kept guilt-tripping me about artistic freedom whenever I had asks so l had to walk on eggshells around him to avoid bad vibes (I wanted a 'real' horse, not a rockinghorse, which he initially said he could do). In the end I left with a horrible gut feeling due to all the compromising on the design. But now l've come to terms with it.

The artist said they were very experienced so now I'm not sure if

A) these are actual problems that need fixing?

B) the problems are owed to my skin type?

C) the artist was a bit careless? (Perhaps bc they too were not into the final design) and

D) whether I should go to the original artist for the touch-up or if the might make things worse?
