The fact that the two definitions of Paul Chaudhary are, “A man whom I have actually known who would value women with multiple, excessive organs” and “Absolute stranger” is completely hilarious.
Also, the innocence of the people who did not know him to make his shrine vaguely Indian without for a moment pausing to think if they were being racist is very Taskmaster indeed.

Most Iconic Moment What is your favorite task to watch when you need a laugh?
This is mine currently, narrowly beating out John and the sabotage of season 14. Those two are my go to when I might have ingested some THC.

Taskmaster NZ TMNZ S07E10 - The Train Task -Three frames to settle it Spoiler
galleryRhys kept touching the blocks for three frames while Paul was already blowing his whistle.
Jeremy was right: That index finger has to count. It was incredibly close but a rightful disqualification nonetheless.

did anyone else do this? Spoiler
i love crosswords and taskmaster is my favourite show so imagine my delight when i watched this week’s episode! i almost immediately paused to draw out the grid haha i think it’s the nerdiest thing i’ve ever done
didn’t really properly solve it since the clues appeared on screen as the contestants read them, but i did clue into the secret word and the whole thing made me so happy :’)

Richard Ayoade Facial Hair
Since I know there are many people in this subreddit who like to do statistics and tracking...
I find it interesting that in Richard's prerecorded solo tasks there are three very distinctly different looks. I feel like usually there is a lot of effort into contestants looking the same so that the order doesnt matter but Richard in some tasks has quite thick stubble/a short beard and longer hair, in some he is clean shaven with shorter hair, and in some he is clean shaven but longer hair.
Have there been any other contestants that have looked noticebly different?
Has anyone worked through the shots to list which tasks he did on clean shaven days and which on bearded so we can imagine for ourselves what a day might have looked like in terms of tasks?
Did he do it for another show commitment or just to annoy Alex?

Don't acknowledge [redacted]! Spoiler
gallerysomeone has probably pointed this out but the "Ignore Paul Chowdry" task reminded me of "dont acknowledge Ron Perlman" from a Game Changer episode. dont know if it was inspired or just coincidence but both were hilarious and I enjoyed them immensely.

Appreciation Thread Richard in episode 7 Spoiler
I thought Richard was delightful in this latest episode. Generally it was one of the stronger this series, but I feel like we finally got to glimpse a little bit into Richard actually engaging with the show comedically.
Does anyone feel similarly?

Appreciation Thread How did they get series 15 so right?
Watching through everything from series 10 onwards on Taskmaster Bleeped with my kids.
Half way through series 15 and it’s just head and shoulders above the stuff around it, and above more recent series which my kids haven’t yet seen (but which obviously I watched at the time).
But I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is I love about this series so much. The cast is just brilliantly cohesive, but also varied. I think how brilliant (and defying expectations) Frankie was helped. And Jenny was just such an amazing left field edition.
But we have other series with great casts, so, again, I can’t work out why I’m responding to series 15 so positively again.
Is anyone else a big fan of this series? Anyone able to identify why it’s so special?

I’m ready for my Miranda Hart season
Series, Jason.
I really hope they book Miranda Hart soon. I’ve been watching her on Celebrity Traitors (never watched it before, but I couldn’t resist once I heard Acaster and Hart were on it). Frankly, I was worried she’d developed a weird relationship with the British public or been cancelled somehow since she hadn‘t been on TM yet, so I was quite excited to see she’d been booked on Traitors. (In case the title didn’t give it away, I’m an American.) I think she’d have INCREDIBLE chemistry with Alex and Greg. I hope she’s interested and on the next series.

Appreciation Thread Is [Contestant] in [Task] one of the best individual performances in any task ever? Spoiler
Honestly, Isy was flying in the Live drawing task, I was so impressed by how quickly she was drawing and how amazing it was to see how good she was doing
I think it’s probably one of the most impressive task performances ever

Instances of when a contestant explaining their attempt actually scored them LESS points?
Was watching Taskmaster NZ Season 7 when a contestant did REALLY well in a creative task, but their post-commentary in the studio actually made the Taskmaster LESS impressed with their effort in a hilarious fashion. The poor contestant in the end got one point despite the taskmaster being initially impressed!
Probably not down to one point, but I'm sure this has happened in Taskmaster before but I can't seem to recall - hoping someone could remind me.
For those who have seen the latest NZ season, I'm talking about Episode six where Dave Fane's talk about Tiramisu made it look like he didn't know what a Tiramisu actually was and Jeremy even said he was about to mark him high. I still felt it was the best song of the group!

Strange quirk of Youtube's auto-generated captions
So the latest episode doesn't have proper subtitles yet. I had the auto-generated subtitles on. This is who YouTube thought Greg was introducing at the start of the latest episode.

All the mistakes are referencing past contestants. That can't be a coincidence, right?

Taskmaster NZ Taskmaster NZ S07E04 Final Task
Paul had me cackling during the final task of Episode 4. I don't want to spoil it, but he was extra sassy.
