Problem Something went wrong error

I cannot log in to the Steam mobile app; I’m unable to get past the Steam Guard authentication step. I can't move sga too. It just shows an error and asks me to try again later—I’m stuck in an endless loop. How can I resolve this?

My girlfriend's account is in the same exact situation.
We managed to change password but we still get the same error, no matter from which device we try to login,
