Hey guys, I've avoided posting about this account on multiple occassions for several months now

This had happend with me back in July where I placed an order for a supposed Y2K kurti set thinking I'll genuinely help a small business as well as get something good

This account charged over the quoted value, then proceeded to send this junk , then blatantly denied any and all defects that we can see quoting it's very expensive to do and whatnot

Thereby in August when this account was all apologetic for her behavior she did reach out when I said I'll make a post saying let's do a refund, and still I have this dress and no refund no communication other than asking for address and then disappearing again

You can see the kind of shit quality everything is including the handkerchief being sent as a sorry excuse for dupatta

LET US PLEASE GET TOGETHER AND SEND HER SOME SORT OF LEGAL NOTICE OR SOMETHING

LAWERS OF REDDIT, PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN

Scam Report 👮‍♂️ DO NOT ORDER FROM MIDNIGHT ARCHIVES!

Honestly my fault for not checking their Instagram thoroughly ( blocked comments, AI-seeking photos etc) but midnightarchives.in is a big scam!
I placed a COD order - usually that’s what I do while ordering from new places so I was happy to receive the order, packaged nicely in a box.
When I opened it though, instead of the striped pullover from my order, it was cut up scraps of fabric!!!

I left several comments on their IG - they obvious deleted.
Sent several WhatsApp messages - no reply.

Lost my hard earned money. Learn from my lesson!

Small Wins ♥️ My tiny 3D-printing side business just crossed 20 orders. A small win, but it feels huge. 💚

• Upvotes

I started experimenting with 3D printing recently, and my little side project, FigureJutsu, has just crossed its first 20 orders.
Most of them have been Green Lantern rings, which honestly wasn’t something I expected when I started. Seeing people willing to pay for something I’ve printed, painted, and packed myself hits differently from just getting a print to come off the bed successfully.
I’m still very much a beginner. I’m learning as I go, figuring out finishing, pricing, packaging, and what people actually want to buy. There have been plenty of failed prints and little things to improve, so reaching 20 orders feels like a genuine milestone.
It’s not a huge business number, but it’s 20 people who decided my work was worth paying for. That’s encouraging.
For those who’ve built a small product-based business from scratch: what did you focus on after your first 20–50 orders? Did you double down on the product that was already selling, expand the catalogue, or spend more time improving the product and customer experience?
Would love to hear what you learned at that stage.

Hand Made 🎨 Helping my mom grow her handmade crochet business in India, looking for genuine advice

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!
My mom runs a small handmade crochet business called Yarnistry. She makes crochet pieces by hand, including cute car hangings and devotional designs like Little Kanha and Radha-Krishna and many more (more on Instagram handle).

I’ve been helping her with the online side of things, especially Instagram and content creation. One of her Little Kanha car-hanging reels even crossed 850K views, which was honestly exciting for us.

But I’m learning that getting views and building a consistent customer base are two very different things.
We’re trying to figure out how to grow a handmade business in India without spending too much on marketing.

For those of you who run product-based or handmade businesses:
1. What has worked best for getting your first consistent customers?
2. How do you turn social media views into actual orders? (received a multiple orders in August though but orders stopped yet again)
3. Are there any platforms besides Instagram that have worked well for handmade products?

I’d genuinely appreciate advice from people who’ve been through this. Growing a small business is harder than it looks from the outside!

PS: Instagram handle: @yarnistry.knotbyknotyarn
and, please support and show some love. that’d be much appreciated 🥹❤️

Promo My mom’s homemade sweets and snacks from Rajasthan: our full menu and new festive gift boxes

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

My mom has been cooking for over 30 years. What started as boxes of ladoos and mathri couriered to my sister and me is now a small home kitchen, delivering across India.

Everything is made in small batches after you order and with no preservatives.

This Diwali, we also added two gift boxes, ₹999 each with free delivery:

  • Ladoo Gift Box: 24 ladoos (8 dry fruits, 8 besan, 8 dates ladoos). The dates ladoo also has no added sugar.
  • Kesar Kaju Katli & Dry Fruits Ladoo Box: 24 kesar kaju katli and 12 dry fruits ladoos.

A few things people usually ask:

  • Pack sizes: most items come in 250 g to 1 kg packs; prices are on the photos. Smaller packs cost slightly more per kg, because packing and shipping cost about the same.
  • Shelf life: ladoos last about 45 days, mathri, biscuits and gud papdi about 60 days, and kaju katli 10–15 days.
  • Delivery: free on orders above ₹999, anywhere in India.

We have got around 36 orders so far, and the dry fruits ladoo has a 4.9★ rating from 11 reviews and it is our one of the best selling items.

For context, he's a regular customer, and we were just joking around in DMs 😂 She asked about a custom set for her girlfriend, we discussed the price, and then the negotiation took a very unexpected turn.

No hate to him at all, we're chill 🤍 Just sharing a funny customer interaction (with personal details kept private).

Discussion Need advice as a newbie to business

So I am thinking of starting my silver jewellery brand. Not keeping many things in the start, just anklets, bracelets and light chains, all weighing around 1-2 g. Pure 925 sterling silver. Hallmark too.

I am just confused about a few things. Please help me guys:

  1. Would people actually buy silver jewellery online? Like they don't trust online new businesses in this I guess.

  2. I am starting on low budget so won't be focusing on brand naming and packaging, or should I?

  3. How should I move with online payments? I do have COD available but would need atleast 200rs security beforehand else it would be prepaid. Are there any apps which people often use like I did heard of PayPal but please guide me.

  4. Any other things I need to keep in mind?
