More monthly listeners than buzzov•en now! I’m glad more people are getting into them they were always one of my favourites. Correct me if i’m wrong but istg they used to be sitting at around 1-5k monthly listeners in 2025

I got banned from the punk subreddit so idk where else to post this but he's wearing an eyehategod shirt so that counts

I’ve been listening to sludge recently and really like sofa king killers solos. Does anyone have any other sludge bands that have more lead guitar focused.

One of the heaviest to ever do it.

I don't know if i can post this here but

this is my third battle vest. it’s finally done It’s also my first vest that are subgenre themed and not an anything vest. It can be worn on its own as a battle vest or put under the jacket to turn it into a battle jacket. All the patches are DIY It took about 3–4 months to finish I think but it would’ve taken less time if I weren’t so lazy.

Big fan of primitive man, the body, crawl, body void, burning witch, cult of occult, miscarriage, indian, thou, etc... feels like ive hit the ceiling.

New band in Alaska

help me find more of this niche stuff.
what im looking for:
grind, noise, death metal and sludge. think vague illusions by cult of luna, tordenbrak by kvelertak, less meaning by the body, the facts by trap them, and rotting in the free world by carcass.
ideally the tambourine hits in the breakdown- but not totally necessary.

not looking for:
martyr by fear factory, melodic/symphonic metal, folky, elven, 80s heavy metal, acoustic stuff, prog, pop, 70s rock, psych rock, kraut, funny meme stuff, or beatdown. people telling me this doesnt exist, i started the playlist with only one song.

Some of the songs I wrote awhile ago. Ffo: Old Man Gloom, Rosetta, The Minor Times.

Band out of Fayetteville AR. I've been looking for sludge like this for a while - literally the perfect bluesy-sludge southern mashup that manages to differentiate itself from eyehategod. These guys are pretty unheard of, so I think y'all should take a listen. Super underrepresented.

I keep seeing this band mentioned on this subreddit but can't find anything by them on YT Music. Can I get some more info and albums to try and find ?
