Have some peralta nanocubics on 8.25 slappy st1 hollows with an 8.5 no-name blank deck.

Want to get the new andy anderson hydrant flight deck but it is 8.4 so not sure if the wheels will stick out beneath the board.

(Nanocubics are offset wheels requiring smaller trucks to sit level when primo.)

Hello, I’m 5’9” 185 pounds. I just started transition/mini ramp skating for the first time recently. I’d like to set up this Christian Hosoi board properly. Any suggestions on which trucks wheels, etc.?

I’m currently skating on my series 17 Mike McGill reissue deck, independent standard 159 trucks with Spitfire formula four 99a wheels, bones hard bushings, Bronson bearings, Rib bones and 1/8” shock pads and it seems pretty well sorted for that board. The Hasoi seems narrower and it’s concave. Should I be going with a different width truck setup? Are there better wheel and bearing options for wooden mini ramp/transitions?

I’d like to keep the whole aesthetic 80s Miami Vice so I’d like to do hot pink wheels, black or white trucks. I’m not sure what color rib bones to go with.

The nut on my kingpin continuously comes unscrewed whenever I skate transition or curbs - I've been debating whether or not to get looser bushings or (because I'm satisfied with the looseness with the nut is just barely on there) I was thinking of just super gluing the nut on. Any advice? Would the soft bushings be worth it? I'm roughly 165-170 probably and like my front truck loose enough to wobble.

Are my new trucks meant to do this? They get stuck in a diagonal position for some reason and don't go back like my old ones, is it just cause they're fresh?

Hi everyone. This board belongs to my partner, and we made the mistake of leaving it on our balcony for a few weeks and it rained. It’s growing this mold that we just noticed.
This board is really important to my partner, so any advice on how to get the mold off would be very appreciated.

I think it’s just surface mold, I scrubbed a bit off with dawn and water. I might need to sand off the tail a little cause it looks like it’s permeated the wood a tiny bit there.

So I’ve been trying to find the older loaded Icarus flex 2 with the purple and green colourway on the bottom, I can’t find any online but it’s the one I need to complete my longboard setup. Can anyone advise me on somewhere where I may be able to get one?

I'm a data student and for my 'thesis' ive to apply my learnings to help answer a real business question with a real client. We can pick whatever topic we want and skate/longboarding is my passion!

My goal is simple: if you're a business owner and you want evidence-based decicion making, please reach out.

There is A LOT to discuss, but to keep this simple:

• You dont need to have fancy shmancy data. Excel or csv files containing sales, inventory, pricing, etc is more than enough.
• This is a small-scope project.
• minimal time commitment BUT i'll need you avaliable for occasional questions and clarifications throughout the project. It's important that I can check my understanding of the data and business context with you, rather than make assumptions. You wouldn't need to be involved day to day, but some back-and-forth communication is essential!!!
• Time zone: I'm based in Central European Time (CET/CEST), so we'd need to be able to coordinate occasional calls or discussions at mutually convenient times.

Of course, I have my usual skate shops that i go to but i dont want to ask them since if they rejected my proposal, id be too embarrassed to ever go back and i really like the community ive got there.

We would start immediately as my deadline is less than 1 month.

I posted here recently asking for kickflip tips and since then my kickflips have improved massively! I'm now flicking right off the nose of the board with a decent delay which makes the board level out nicely.

Only problem is, this has become so painful for the top of my foot, roughly just above the ball of my foot / below my big toe. I just need to double check if this is normal or if I'm doing something wrong, as it's a pain I've never had before?

I was thinking it's happening because now I'm kicking off the nose just below my big toe is the main point of contact during the flick, so maybe it's just damaging the muscles from doing it so often, I'd be curious if this has happened to others, though.

I am skating a Real DBX now, it feels fucking great but don't love the shape. I want the Hockey Shape 1 but with some reinforcement.

I am now on my 3rd pair of bones hard-core bushings in 3 months on my tensor mag lights this 3rd pair is only a week old and im doing the right method of only tightening it till its flush then tightening after a couple of sessions. Im only 146 pounds as of right now all I do is flat ground 2 hours a day I guess im a stomper

I have no problem ollying over obstacles but when I try to kf I can never catch it. I can flick it good to my back foot but I can never land them. Any advice?
