SimpleRockets 2 test in leo
was hard asf implement the vizzy program of ullage mechanics of block D in 2 pods... but I did it, and thats the "L3", I called it L8, or Lunar Expeditionary complex, but LEK is other soviet program... anyways, I'm few steps away of have a usable N1F with this. any suggestions will be taken.

SimpleRockets SimpleRockets 1 is back on modern Android phones (v1.7.0)
Good news for longtime SimpleRockets fans: the original SimpleRockets is now updated for current Android devices!
Many of you let us know the game wouldn’t install on newer phones like the Pixel 9 and Galaxy A16, since they only run 64-bit apps. Version 1.7.0 fixes that. It’s live on Google Play now:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jundroo.simplerockets
Thanks to everyone who kept flying all these years and asked for this update.

Presidential plane on the UNA
This is the DEFCON-23 an air force and Concorde inspired plane designed to carry the president and as many other people in the government that are important out of the country or out of an aera in case of emergency flying at a crusing speed of mach 1.94 with a wet weight of 5.15KT it's minimum takeoff speed is about 155meters per second using 12 afterburning engines and for once it has air brakes (that's what you can see in the designer photos sticking up from the wings) it also has a top speed of about mach 2.04 I think, and I found out it can still fly with half a right wing and a full left wing without any major balance changes and it flys kinda like most of my fighter jets, and 1 more thing it's almost entirely vanilla

block D finished
less than 50 parts, it has a true ring made with inlets. it tries to look realistic, but it aren't, e. g. ullage motors, I tried to make a vizzy program for make thrust with monopropellant engines before ignite the 11D58... i got an idea while redacting this, I will trie it... anyways, it has unlimited ignitions, has no realistic dry (unfuelled) mass, so it wet mass is not realistic. I almost have all the parts I need to a N1F L8 (continuation of L7 if it had succeeded)

SimpleRockets 2 Cylero Transport Vehicle | Juno: New Origins
So I've been playing JNO for a while now and just now finally created a transport vehicle to send to Cylero.
It's not finished, but I'm too lazy to finish it rn XD

Are there some ways to increase the snapping force of parachutes, not including changing size and xml
r/simplerockets • u/Strange_Coach_8186 • 4d ago
My second fully reusable rocket in career: StarReacher V2
StarReacher V2 is the second generation in the line of my reusable rockets. This one is much bigger and heavier. I didn't check the maximum capabilities of this rocket, but I think it can get around 30 tons to LDO (Low Droo orbit).
The first stage has 19 "MAGNUM MK1" engines powered by kerolox, which were used on V1. The booster gets the spaceship to a trajectory to escape the atmosphere, and then safely returns by splashing down into the sea, slowing down with parachutes.
The second one is a spaceship. It carries the payload to orbit and then returns by reentry and lands in the water.
It has some problems with the parachutes on the first stage, I will do something about it.

LK almost finished
As you can see, I’ve fixed the issue with the landing legs—they no longer fold up. Angular momentum remains a problem, and I have no idea how to solve it. All that’s left is to add a realistic Block D, and then I’ll be ready to post the rocket.

Flying cruise ship.
This is the "Cruisatia" (pronounced crew-za-sha) a massive passenger plane that is able to fit around 7 stories of passengers with luxury seats each floor would have a different class like economy class would be on the bottom floor while the VIP class on the very top floor of course I didn't model the inside the inside is just a concept of course cause it was already a pain trying to keep this thing from sinking in the ocean

Re-entry speed plane
This thing goes about mach 10ish I think in atmosphere and then it goes into space and the highest speed I've recorded with this in space was mach 29+ and it constantly accelerates with engines on i don't even have a name for this oh also this thing is longer than the average skyscraper and weighs over a kiloton. And keep in mind re entry speeds start at mach 25+ according to my research

We're working on In Control: Rocketry, a rocket builder game where you design both the ship and the electronics that fly it. Thought you might like it!
Hey! We've been working since last year on a In Control: Rocketry, a spaceflight sim where you build the rocket and wire up its control panel yourself. Sensors, inputs, outputs, the whole thing is Turing-complete, so however you want to solve a flight problem, there's a way to do it. It will be available on Steam in 2027.
Real orbital mechanics, a fictional solar system to explore, sandbox mode if you just want to mess around and blow things up!
Feel free to add the game to your wishlist if you want to support the project! See you in space.

SimpleRockets 2 do you think scramjets would be a good addition to the game?

SimpleRockets 2 How to name an astronaut in juno new origins????
I can't name my astronaut, which I want to. When i name him , his name shows only in the build area but during flight or switching between astronauts, his names only appears as unassigned. Its very irritating as i am not able to change his name.
Btw i am in sandbox mode, is this related to career mode progression. How to solve this???

SimpleRockets 2 Good cargo plen
It's my cargo plane during structural integrity test
Stats:
Max speed: 350m/s no cargo, 185m/s max cargo
Max payload: 500 tons
V1 speed : 85m/s
Lift off speed: 130m/s
Specs: 84m long and 86m wide
Engines:
4×dual counter rotating turboprops, one mounts do 680-1200Kn
Facts:
It's kinda reliable and it got a semi-autopilot

SimpleRockets 2 Serious bug with docked craft
Two capsules docked like this has completely unusable autopilot. Turning one capsule on and off, turning replicate command on and off, adjusting PID etc does not work at all
Any way to fix this?

SimpleRockets 2 How to exceed Mach 3 with air breathing engine?
So recently I've been building this supersonic jet which sole purpose is to exceed mach 3, and it seems that this craft could only achieve mach 2.8-2.9, i've tweaked the aerodynamics and reduced the fuel onboard and using pure turbojet yet nothing works, any advice? (No XML)

Hypersonic plane that does work infact
This is the HRA-301 a hypersonic stealth reconnaissance attack aircraft using 2 cerberus engines and 1 truncated aero kerlox engine and it works completely fine just from the load state because i made sure to account for heat shielding
