Review: Lovense Gush 2 Motion NSFW
Happy Thursday. A month ago, Lovense sent us the Gush 2 Motion for review, and to try out the remote control features. The biggest step up from the original Gush 2 is the sensors that record movement which can then be translated into motion on another toy in the Lovense Ecosystem. The package comes with the device, two straps, and a magnetic charging cable.
The Gush 2 Motion has a single button to turn it on and off, and to switch between different speeds and vibration patterns. The included straps can be secured around the Gush 2 Motion to adjust the tightness and fit to your preference. When we used it during partner play, the bands made it easier for my partner to hold onto and helped transmit slightly less vibrations into their hand. There is a single pulse point that targets the frenulum. However, the vibration can be felt through the entire device. As always, we love to see waterproof toys. Cleanup is always easier, and we’ve found that the better quality construction needed to achieve a higher IPX rating usually means a longer lifespan for the toy.
The optional Lovense app can be used for remote play or to sync two different devices together. We tested this with the Solace Pro and Edge 2, and didn’t have any issues getting them to work together.
The original Gush 2 is being phased out, so if you’re looking for a standalone version without the connectivity, the savings may make it a better fit for your needs. As stock runs out, the new Motion version will be taking over. With how much we enjoy connected play, content syncing, and remote sessions, for us we prefer the connected version of most toys.
So what do we think of the Gush 2 Motion? The pricing is reasonable for what you get. The battery charges quickly, lasts multiple sessions, is easy to clean, and does its job without waking the neighbours. It’s quick to set up and partner friendly. Cleanup is simple and thanks to the IPX7 waterproof rating, you can try out post orgasm play without risking damage to the vibrator. It isn’t going to win out as top choice for somebody looking for raw power, and to unlock the complete functionality you are tied to the Lovense App. We did try out the AI sync and haptics synchronization using the Quest 3 and SexLikeReal, and it works just as well as the other Lovense toys we’ve tested.
Who would we recommend it to?
Travellers, long distance relationships, remote site workers (quiet enough for a thin walled motel), those wanting to try a different type of stimulation, or somebody looking to upgrade from a less powerful or app-free toy. Occasionally there are bundled deals, so if you do want it for a couples set, or for remote play, consider checking back for those sales to launch. This is something that we would buy for our own collection and use especially if travelling for work, and for something different to experiment with while using VR and chatbots.
