NAVARA - After Us: chords
Does anyone know how to make the main chord sound in this track? I've tried a few different ways but can't get it or find it anywhere.

Sup yall!? Ive been trying to expand my production pallet and have been listening to Spotifys regional charts and they got some Bangers. I came across this Artist named LUCHO RK and I really like the synths in his production. Especially the ones in the beginning of this song AT 0:00 https://youtu.be/lds3cFhM4ec?si=i9RU6CwOPEQPG0Ec . Im talking about that detuned lead. It's layered .It seems like the same sound but one is just more thick. Im still trying to figure out how to post it but I defiantly took a shot at it. LOL I fell asleep trying to remake this synth. I woke up and it kinda sounds close but it's just not the same. Can anyone help. In Serum I linked the LFO to the fine pitch and I linked another LFO to the Fine Pitch to give it that vibrato .I also link the first OSC ,FM, AND NOISE generator together but its still not there.

We've put all our free Serum packs on one page: 24 packs, including Retrowave Leads, Outrun Basses, Synthwave Arps, Cyberpunk Arps 1–3, 80s Synths, Nu Disco Arps, Vaporwave Keys and Pads, Bedroom Beats and more. They work in Serum 1 and Serum 2. Hope they help, and let us know what you make with them!

I am inspired by the ancient breakdown percussion loop but I can’t find a tutorial anywhere online that shows how to recreate it, any tips?

Anyone using this combination? How many instances of serum can you run? I just switched from pc and it feels like serum is a cpu drain but maybe it’s a studio one issue. I’m using 8.02

I would love to use serum’s modulation function to map to external audio effects or with another software instrument.
I know there is an LFO Tool, but Serum 2’s modulation functions are so powerful that I would love to hook it up with other plugins.
I appreciate all the work that has gone into Serum 2! Thanks Steve 🙏

This is a Serum preset garden called Soundgarden. (No AI used for generating presets!)
So, I made and bought a lot of presets for Serum (2) in the last years, and most of the time I end up tweaking existing presets, but I was looking for a way to get a little more creative without turning knobs for hours.
So I built something for myself, the Soundgarden. As I have 3 main hobbies: Making music, Gardening and Home Assistant I wanted to combine these together. I had Claude code analyse and sort my presets, and build an engine for me (*AI was only used during this first analysis process, no AI touches my presets or configures or builds sounds or anything else, this is al running on my NUC)
It's a 3d rendered Three.js website that is a live garden with preset-sounds as plants. So what happens, I start in my seed shop. there I have all my presets, sorted by type. I pick some seeds (existing presets) and plant them, each in their own bedding. this plant then "grows" in the bedding, depending on what I "feed" that plant (for example, if I give it some "Frost" the sound gets glassier, shorter tail, comb filter... ) i can listen to the plant, download it, weed it if I don't like it, or feed it with one of the 7 nutrients. Overnight (really, this runs every night on my NUC), each plant grows 3 new buds on the plant, with 3 variants for each nutrient. (you can listen to each variant, then if you like it, plant it out, or sync it to my pc, download it, throw it on the the compost heap,... if you plant it, it becomes a plant on it's own that can grow again into another variant. you can also Cross pollinate two sounds of two different plants and it generates a new sound. (again, not using AI, but from the offline program running in the background.)
some fun stuff I added:
- a stage, where a DJ plays (atm it's youtube video's from some dj set playlists that then play on the ledwall in the back of the dj stage) there's
- Two figures running around doing chores:
Nukkie, a tiny robot that also lives on my desk for real, that has facial expressions, depending on some home assistant sensors, but also when i discovers a wild growing weed-plant in the garden (sometimes a suprise comes up somewhere in the garden, with a strange unspecified sound that can also grow and develop) it points me to them and shows a panicking face on my desk when a new one pops up.)
A technician called Deve Studa that runs around laying audio-cables, fixing broken lights, and when music is playing he get's behind the dj booth and dj's.
- different light modes and weather, depending on real life sensors of my Home Assistant. So when it rains in real life, it rains in my Soundgarden.
- all created sounds get checked in the morning, and if there is silent, heavy clipping, or nothing different from the parent sound, it gets thrown on the compost heap automaticaly .
I love to build stuff for myself, but maybe someone out here just enjoy's my Soundgarden too :-) (names are in dutch, some of them are wordgames)
UPDATE! I've added a Rhythmbox to play with the sounds: https://imgur.com/a/pNNFH5h
Hello, I was just curious about the old Seth Norman Factory Presets for Serum as they were good sounds and are impossible to find again. If anyone recognises the SN part of the factory presets of Serum 1, I would really be grateful for a copy. Thank you

Hello friends. Anyone knows how can I create this sound in Serum 1?
It sounds like 2 metal rods being hit on each other

At 2:16, there’s a violin lead sound that sounds so good. I’m pretty sure like 100% sure that it was made on Serum, with a basic saw and good enveloppe but idk how I could do better. Any idea on how to recreate it please ? Thanks !

Hey everyone, trying to get myself to learn sound design a bit more. How would I recreate the lead at 0:31 just before the drop? Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I am following a sound design course where, among other things, there are patches from one synth that you should recreate in your synth of choice. Having picked serum as my choice, I was surprised to see that serum's square wave in basic shapes wave table introduces small amount of even harmonics. While generally you wouldn't notice it if you just played the sound, it does make a difference when you precisely want to recreate a patch. At first i thought it was maybe some aliasing problem, but after viewing the waveform in the wavetable editor, it is intentional. Why? To give it more analog feel or something?

I have a key tracking filter in my Serum 2 FX section in the main bus. When I play one note, the filter cutoff is at frequency x, lets say. When I play another note, its at frequency y. But when I play both notes, its at some middle frequency for both notes. Is there a way to have frequency x for note one and frequency y for note two at the same time? Thanks

For my next sound design challenge I made a heavy metal guitar serum patch, there are a few macros that control palm mute, distortion fuzz, and tone. this one was quite the challenge and took a lot of small tweaks to get to sound right so far warning to those who want to try and make themselves. Play around with wavetables and convolver ir's to get other tones and resonances. enjoy!
