This is a screenshot from kitty doll on flicker which I censored a bit. But could some of the SL girlies out there tell me how she is getting these love handles and hip dips. I have some deformers and I have ebody juicy rolls but I just can't replicate this body shape to save my life. If anyone knows a body shape on the marketplace or any advice I'd be so grateful!

Hello, I’m looking for some specific BOM (healed preferably, not red or bloody,) scars for Fleur-de-Lis, (like an upside-down T - please see photo,) and also Hip and Knee replacement surgery scars, (also healed.) I have tried MP and a few stores like White Crow and Cureless who do carry some scars, but haven’t yet found exactly what I’m looking for. Any suggestions? TYIA 🙏

So I recently rented a multi-scene skybox after finding it through the Destinations section on the Second Life website.

I saw around 30 people there and thought, "Wow, this place is popular. Must be some pretty good skybox!" And to be fair, it is good, but the number of people seems to be inflated by bots. All the profiles are blank, they were created around the same time, and they're all gathered in roughly the same area (around 230xm away from me).

My guess is that the owner might be doing this to get their place higher up in the Destinations section under Land on the website, making people think it's popular and attracting more visitors (which I fell for LMAO).

Is this kind of thing actually common? Is Second Life full of bots used by individual people to make their places look more popular than they really are?

Mind you, as I said, the skybox itself is good and cheap. I'm just starting to wonder how many actual people are actively using Second Life. Firestorm shows 38k+ users online as I'm typing this, and honestly, I have a hard time believing that number is accurate. Even 15k+ seems like a stretch to me, no shade, no shade.

I know Second Life is a huge place, with people doing their own thing here and there, but it'd be kinda annoying to think that bots might be taking up extra spots at busy events. For example, I haven't been able to get into K9 for some days just to shop around and check things out.

You know what I mean?

There is a smallish store that has life size sculptures or maybe they were animesh, I don't remember, but they have creepy monsters in life size. I believe the entrance has random smaller tv screens at the entrance. I want to say they had a female figure in black with a lamp head or something. I'm looking for this avi size female mesh body that is a lamp for a head. I saw it somewhere and I think it was at that store. I'm going through my landmarks all day searching.

Does anyone know the store or this mesh sculpture? 🤦‍♀️

Hello there, sorry if I'm asking something that's been answered before, but couldn't find much on it.

I have a skybox that I got recently from a sale, I fell in love with its layout and how it felt not too big while also not being stuffy. It seems to be a 2016 release so its textures are of course a bit on the older side, but they, along with the mesh itself, still look fantastic. The reason I'd like to retexture it isn't because of the textures being old, it's because I'd like to add some color to the walls instead of the black wallpaper that it comes with. I'd give the name of the store or the skybox, but I'm not sure if it's allowed.

I read from some of the marketplace reviews for the store that it is possible to change the colors of the walls and flooring of their buildings and skyboxes, but it apparently requires knowing how to work with these types of structures. I was thinking I could possibly make a custom texture in Krita, but is this how this goes or are there any other steps to it? Additionally, the texture I want to make is for personal use only, but should I still give a heads up to the creator that I'd like to make such a modification just in case?

Does anyone know if that one sim (can’t remember what it’s called) is still around that has the Beetlejuice house, and a canoe river ride from the movie Deliverance? It had a bunch of different movie themed areas. Poltergeist may have been another one. Not sure if it was a year round sim, or just around Halloween, but I remember going there a few years in a row around this time of year. Would be cool to visit again for nostalgic reasons.

I have done the rocks and cliffs to hide an ugly wall that my neighbors have up. I have used Skye and Fanatik and the other usuals..., I want to try trees, bushes or some kind of foliage to just do something different. Does anyone know of any current or newer products that i could use for my 2048sqm parcel wall? I am looking for something very tall, bushy or dense that might possobly be flatter facing my neighbors side. Thanks for any ideas.

Looking for high quality gothic furniture/decor and buildings. Everything from castles to cottages. Marketplace is exhausting because it tends to show old stuff first and I won’t purchase without seeing inworld. Thanks for any vendor suggestions.
