OMG! RUSH’s set list last night for St. Louis! Favorite one of the tour so far. We were treated to both the entire '2112' suite AND the entire 'MOVING PICTURES' album. Perfect night and incredible time. Absolutely EPIC! 😍

I first heard them in 1984, saw them in 1992 and 1994. Never thought it would happen again. Wife and I had the best time ever.

Thank you (I guess) to greedy ass Ticketmaster - STL show

Thanks to Ticketmaster jacking up the prices on their platinum tickets, I found a half empty row of seats right before the show was starting. We moved up from section 103 row w all the way to 103 row c. Sat next to a couple with the exact same idea as us.

We ended up in an even better spot than we did last time we saw Rush in St. Louis on their R40 tour. What a great night and an amazing setlist. They sounded great. It's crazy how fast a three hour set flew by.

So, about that STL one-night stand...

The set list did not match Houston's one off. Close, but not quite. Houston got Dreamline; STL did not. STL got DEW, AFTK, and Far Cry instead, for a net total of two additional songs. Houston got 24 non-encore songs; St. Louis got 26.Just an amazing set for the St. Louis crowd.

Last night's show was incredible. They played great and seemed to be having a blast on stage. Here are a few of my favorite photos that I took.

I especially enjoyed Alex's "jazz" at the beginning of the 2nd set 🤣

Question Ticket mock-up help

Hey guys! My dad is a huge Rush fan, and we are St. Louis locals, so I was able to treat him to a (very) early Christmas present last night!! Last time they came through I was still in high school (so no salary to buy tickets), so it felt incredible to make this happen. So lucky with the set list, he was hoping so hard for the whole 2112 run!

That being said, I’d like to make him a shadowbox to give him ON Christmas with a few memories of the concert, and would love to have some physical tickets made up. Does anyone have any tips on how to do that? Is there a service, or if I mock them up myself what paper should I print on to get that authentic feel, etc.

Thank you all in advance!!

(p.s. will edit this ls out if not allowed, but if anyone has any tips on where I might be able to pick up a genuine STL edition poster or if there is a trustworthy reprint service, please let me know! They sold out before we hit the front of the line around 6:45 unfortunately and he really liked the design)

How did i never notice this about bankok?

I saw an interview with geddy and anika and he was talking about how weird the middle section with the solo is for him and her. I was like huh? Its a basic 4/4 part. It never once struck me as weird so i went back and listened to it closer than i ever have and i realized what hes talking about.

Theres 4 bars, it is all 4/4 but the cadence of the part changes in each of the 4 bars. Honestly as much as ive heard this song just never particularly took notice to how weird it actually is. Its sort of like what they do at the tail end of grand designs where it keeps changing. Its the same sort of thing.

I might have subconsciously noticed it while listening to it in the past but never really dug into it or felt that it was weird until just now seeing him say that and listening to it more closely. He was just talking about how he always looked forward to playing that part because it keeps changing. Keeps him awake.

Question Can’t identify this pressing of Exit Stage Left

It looks similar to the last two screenshots, but the text on the center label on mine only goes across the bottom half and not the entire label. doesn’t seem to match the other entries on Discogs. Anybody know which one this might be?
