I know now to separate my colors a little. 😩

I use 3 in one for my gun. Can I use it for my clippers too? I’m carving my rugs today for the first time and have a few today to carve

I was replacing the scissors on my rug tufting gun and I’m guessing I missed something or a step and this piece flung out of the machine when I turned it on and tried using it… help! I need an adult.

I know it’s supposed to be where the scissors are but I’m not even sure what I did to mess it up.

Looking to sell all of this gear. I only use loop pile to do rugs so all of this cut pile equipment is of no use to me. I’m fairly new to rug tufting and don’t know if my guns scissors are supposed to be making that noise or not. If not how can I fix it? Please let me know :^(

I recently purchased a small rug of a character of mine from a small maker. Unfortunately, they made a mistake having two sections that were supposed to be the same blue be different. it is pretty apparent side by side that one is far more real than the other.

I asked if they could fix it and they said no. Is there any solution for me to DIY fix this? Airbrushing with a certain paint or dyes, whatever would come out the best.

I want to make rugs with both loop and cut pile but I *think* I have a generic cut pile gun. I saw something about an attachment so I could also tuft with a loop pile.

1. Is this gun only a cut pile?

2. Has anyone successfully used a loop pile attachment with a gun like mine?

I don't realistically have the space or environment in my condo to get into tufting, but made this rug at a local studio that provides supplies, space, and tips. It was probably a bit too ambitious for having never picked up the gun before, especially the small details around the eyes and mouth, but I think it turned out alright. It was about 7 hours from start to finish, then the owner of the studio cleaned it up a bit and applied the backing. She said she doesn't do the detailed carving as part of the package because it takes a long time, but still a cool thing to have done. He's an 80cm x 80cm circle.
