I'm currently looking for a welcoming, long-term D&D or Pathfinder campaign and hoping to find a GM and group whose playstyle matches what I'm searching for!

What I'm looking for:

- Game: D&D 5e/2024 or Pathfinder, including homebrew campaigns.

- Platform: Foundry VTT (required), with voice chat through Discord.

- Availability: Saturday or Sunday mornings and afternoons (Eastern Time). Unfortunately, evenings don't work for me.

- Playstyle: High fantasy, roleplay, exploration, combat, humor, creative problem-solving, and the occasional chaotic adventure!

- Campaign style: I love traditional adventures with overarching storylines, but especially enjoy living-world or sandbox campaigns where characters can pursue personal goals, develop relationships, explore, and influence the world around them.

- Environment: LGBTQIA+ welcoming, respectful, and inclusive.

- Paid games: Absolutely open to paid campaigns!

I enjoy creating characters with meaningful backgrounds and personalities, and I'm particularly interested in finding a group that values collaborative storytelling, player agency, and having fun together.

I’m currently opening two groups for Curse of Strahd on Thursdays.

Barovia is not merely trapped in mists — it is trapped in tragedy. Villagers live in constant dread, clinging to fading candles while wolves howl with human cunning. Every path leads back to Castle Ravenloft, where Strahd von Zarovich watches from eternal loneliness, convinced love can be commanded and life preserved only through death. The land itself conspires against hope, twisting fate into sorrow. Heroes do not simply fight monsters here; they fight despair. Will you break the cycle of heartbreak… or become just another ghost the mists refuse to release?

So, let’s talk about some basic info:

Game: Dungeons & Dragons 5e/5.5e

Paid: Yes – $18 USD per session (Session 0 is FREE)

Platform: Roll20 + Discord

Schedule: Weekly, Thursdays at 10AM and 7PM (GMT-5)

Session Length: 3–4 hours

Hello, I'm a storyteller and a rusty GM.

I'd like to look into paid GMing, but since I'm out of practice, I'd like to:

A) Get back into GMing first and run some free one-shots using many of the short stories I've written in my massive GM world as a base.

B) Run it on something popular enough for people to know, but familiar enough to me and available enough to easily use 3.5, not 5e.

C) Set a number of restraints as well. I'm all for having fun — I wouldn't be doing this with D&D if I weren't. My world is not a power-game session. Yes, there is a lot of powerful magic, it's a very dangerous and primal world, and I want to emphasize story and character-driven drama over epic hobo-murdering minmaxing.

That means I'll be saying no to a lot of custom characters and imported builds. The world has its own races, its own prestige classes, and its own rules. If that doesn't work for you, no hard feelings.

Location/Timezone: US Eastern Time (ET), but open to groups in any timezone

Availability: Weekly or biweekly, Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays - any time

Preferred role: Player

Preferred tools: Discord, Roll20, Demiplane

Game style: Roleplay, exploration, social encounters; character-driven campaigns with meaningful consequences and room for both serious and humorous moments.

Scheduling note: I GM other games from Mondays to Thursdays, so I'm specifically looking for a Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays game.

I enjoy campaigns where the characters and Night City develop in response to what happens during play. I like meaningful roleplay and character relationships, exploration, and social encounters. I enjoy serious or darker stories, but I don't need the table to be serious all the time!

I'm generally more interested in creating a character who fits the campaign than bringing a character that has to be accommodated by it. I have a few concepts I'd be interested in playing, but I'm happy to work with the GM to adapt them to the setting or create something entirely new.
