I’ve created a cat controller for Roblox, with seven playable cats and a movement system built around their animations.

- 7 cat breeds

- Walk, jog, run, and realistic body bending when turning.

- Jump Nodes with UI prompts for ledge climbing and auto-dropping.

- Emote wheel with 6 built-in animations + custom emote support.

- Easily switch breeds and tweak physics, camera, and movement.

- Multiplayer support.

Whats new:

-Almost finish with the 107th floor of the north tower!
-Worked on 130 liberty street bank street and plaza levels + lights
-More traffic lights/street decorations along west street

Whats next:
-106th floor (which will have the arrival area plus suites, as well as the kitchen and office space)
-finish 44 and 78 skylobbies
-South tower observation deck
-decorative cars around, to enhance the quality and make it more 'alive'

I wont say what type of games I saw. But its just straight up gore. I mean, I seen lots of bad stuff online but the shit I see here on roblox is just another level. Idk if its cause the artstyle mixed with gore makes it more sick or just the way these devs handle the animation or concept.

I’ve been playing Roblox for around 14 years now, and I’ve honestly been so, disappointed, with what happened to this site.

People used to be able to hire developers to help them create games, or join communities to role play, but because of how Roblox is structured, that’s no longer the case.

Roblox’s slogan “powering imagination” does not apply to modern Roblox, having to pay, HUNDREDS of dollars per hour per developer to create a game, or buying assets, or so on and so fourth, is absolutely insane to me. I understand it’s a job, and that they should be fairly compensated, however, this is a game mainly catered towards children.

I understand this is a hot take, and I’d really like to get everyone’s insight on this, apologies if it comes off as rude, however as a non-developer this is how I’ve viewed it, and I’d appreciate having a civil convo about this.

Now what hurts most of all is the downfall of Roblox groups, and Roblox as a site as a whole.

I personally used to be really into the SCP genre. It was fun, it was unique, and it was expressive. But, Every. Single. Group. Has had pedo(s), or people who make suggestive comments, or people who dox another person, it’s a recurring theme, and it’s insane to me. Action may have been taken, but the people’s love for the game and genre just disappeared because action was taken too late.

The thing is, this isn’t exclusive to the SCP genre, even though I have yet to join one that died due to lack of funding or the aforementioned reasons. It exists in so many different genres as well.

Because of this, I believe Roblox lost its touch, in the sense that, it was a way for people to connect, to socialize, to have fun, it was a free space for everyone, but because of greed, AI generated games, and the genuine lack of care for the community, I don’t believe Roblox will last very long if it continues in this trajectory.

So, I guess I have a couple questions.

1. What are your thoughts on the state of Roblox now?
   
2. What are your thoughts on the state of the role play/groups on Roblox?
   
3. Have you experienced anything similar when it comes to the SCP/Roblox groups?
   
4. Do you think Roblox, will remain active in the near future?

These are just some things I have that I’d like to get to hear, but I’d appreciate if everyone can provide some better insight on this since, I stopped playing Roblox for about a year now.

Honestly, I’ve lost a lot of friends throughout 2024–2025, whether it was through accidents, broken friendships, or just drifting apart and not seeing each other much anymore. It’s been hard going from having people to talk to and play with to wondering who I can even hit up. I miss having a good buddy who’s excited to hang out, joke around, and make even a random game feel like a good time.

Most people on my friends list don’t really engage with me or talk much, and the two friends I still regularly play with aren’t online very often. I understand everyone has their own life, but it can still feel lonely looking at a whole list of names and not really having anyone to spend time with.

Somewhere along the way, I’ve lost that spark to play by myself. I’ll want to get on, but once I do, the excitement just isn’t there like it used to be. I miss the conversations, the dumb moments, and having someone to look forward to getting online with.

If you’re interested in meeting up online sometime, playing something, or just talking and getting to know each other, let me know. No pressure to be on all the time—I’d just really appreciate a good buddy to share those moments with again.
