For the past five years, I've worked with gaming studios, digital agencies, and IT companies, coordinating teams, managing delivery, and helping turn ideas into finished products and much more.
One of the projects I'm proud of is a Saudi government-backed Vision 2030 initiative for NHS. I co-authored the winning bid, and the project went on to deliver an interactive 3D open-world platform where people can explore homes before they're built. From a production perspective, it had a lot in common with game development.
Back in Pakistan, I was a Business Development Manager at an IT firm, consulting on the side. Life was comfortable, but I wanted to work on projects with a more tangible impact. So I moved to Saudi Arabia.
Things didn't go as planned.
I've sent over 1,500 job applications and reached out directly to founders and studio leads. The opportunities haven't materialized, and I needed to keep earning. Today, I'm doing physically demanding construction work while continuing to look for a way back into the industry.
It's taking a toll, but I'm not giving up on the career I've spent five years building. I actually cannot because that's where heart and passion is.
I'm looking for an opportunity to contribute to a team that builds things. That could mean production coordination, project support, associate producer work, or another role where my experience can make a difference, whether in gaming, marketing, or IT. (It's much more than just this) ALLHAMDULILLAH
I'm not asking anyone to hand me a job. Give me a real opportunity to demonstrate what I can do, even through a short trial or project.
Currently in Riyadh, Transferable Iqama and Immediately available.
If you work in game development, production, marketing, or studio operations, or know someone who does, I'd genuinely appreciate 15 minutes for a conversation. I'm not expecting a job offer from a single conversation. Just a chance to connect, discuss where I could add value, and hopefully get my foot back in the door.
