Donations Needed 50+ Community Cats, Sick Kittens, and Endless Emergencies. Please Help Me Keep Saving the Cats and Kittens Who Have Nobody Else to Turn To🙏FL USA
Lately, it has been an overwhelming time with so many cats and kittens needing help, and I want to share what has been happening with my rescue.
One of the little kittens I took in has an eye infection along with a viral infection. He went to the vet for an examination and medication. The very next day, he developed green diarrhea, which immediately worried us. His vet said he needed to be seen right away, so we rushed him to the emergency vet. Every unexpected emergency brings additional expenses, but when a tiny life depends on you, you do everything you can.
I’m also caring for another baby kitten with neurological issues. He needs extra attention and care, and we’re doing everything possible to give him the best chance at life.
And then there’s Leo. He was another emergency that put us through one of the scariest experiences imaginable. Leo had panleukopenia, a serious and potentially deadly disease in cats. His treatment cost more than $5,000, and he spent almost a month in the hospital fighting for his life. It was terrifying, but Leo made it through. Seeing him survive was a blessing, although the financial burden of his treatment was enormous.
I’ve also been caring for three other kittens whom I’ve had since they were little. They fought coccidia and panleukopenia, but they made it through! I recently took them for health checks because they’re getting ready to go on transport and find their forever homes. They’re healthy and ready for their next chapter, and that makes every struggle worth it.
And there’s a story that touched my heart in a very special way: Petals. I found her suffering from a terrible nose injury caused by a mosquito allergy. She had been missing for more than a year, and I was able to find her family and reunite them.
I recently received a picture of Petals with her owners, and seeing her healing and back with her family filled my heart with so much happiness. It was such an emotional journey. Knowing that she is no longer out on the streets suffering, that she is safe, loved, and finally home, means more than words can express. I’m so grateful I was the person who found her and helped change her life forever. These are the moments that remind me why I keep going, even when everything feels impossible. ❤️
On top of all these rescues, I care for more than 50 community cats who depend on me for food and daily care. I also help abandoned, sick, injured, and senior cats whenever I can.
I’m a solo rescuer, doing all of this on my own. Every vet visit, medication, emergency, bag of food, and necessary supply comes with a cost. The emergencies are unpredictable, and the expenses add up quickly, especially when several animals need help at the same time.
I do this because these animals deserve a chance. They didn’t ask to be abandoned, become sick, or struggle to survive. They deserve love, compassion, and someone willing to show up for them.
But the truth is, it gets overwhelming trying to carry it all alone.
I’m asking for help because I want to continue saving lives, caring for the cats who depend on me, and giving these little ones the chance they deserve.
If anyone would like to support or simply sharing, upvoting my posts, every little bit truly makes a difference.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping me continue this work. There are so many more lives that need saving, and I’m doing everything in my power to help as many as I can. ❤️
