Man I really hope PB has some concrete contract for the movie cuz this does not make me feel positive

I’ve loved these books for years and want to start a collection. I have Lightbringer first print, but want to buy the rest. The online market is fairly scarce right now, wondering if anyone has these and are willing to sell, or knows a good place to find them (i’ve scoured AbeBooks and eBay)? PB signature optional.

Thanks!

Not Daxo… holy fuck man Pierce did not hold back on the coupe…

I can’t wait

Is Cassius the first Olympic Knight of the Solar Republic? I know the wardens were meant to replace that office and serve the senate, but the wardens and senate are basically gone after DA.

I think it’ll be cool for Virginia to bring back the Olympic Knights since she has autonomy over Mars and the war effort. Especially since most if not all of her Imperators are predisposed due to recovery or retuning from the Rim. In reality it’ll be interesting to see how she fights guerrilla/asymmetric warfare and if she’ll appoint a Fear Knight of the Solar Republic to defend Mars at any cost.

Couldn't help thinking that this scene from good will hunting might've been the inspiration for when Mustang consoles Darrow after Roque's death

I’m about a third of the way through Iron Gold (please, absolutely no spoilers), and holy shit, I never thought reading could be this much fun!
I do have one question, though: how much is one credit worth? I honestly have no idea. They mention that each member of Ephraim’s crew will get 600 for stealing the Conqueror’s Razor, while the Syndicate guy’s cheekbones are apparently worth 80,000.
Could someone who’s further along or has finished the book help me out? Thanks!

I've seen the posts about the studio, director, fan cast, length, movie vs. TV show but I'm more curious about HOW the RR story will have to be told for maximum audience appreciation?

In the books we understand Darrow because we hear his real time thoughts. Every tactical calculation, moment of doubt, and panic attack, and all in real time.

In my life experience if a movie relies entirely on voiceover (like the Dune 80s movie), it risks feeling flat or cheap. But if they cut Darrow's internal processing and struggle entirely, casual viewers who haven't followed RR might just see an arrogant and entitled Gold prodigy/wannabe rather than a desperate Red hanging by a thread.

So how should the filmmakers convey the burden Darrow carries so that new audiences (not the folks in r/redrising) actually connect with him? It certainly gets harder with the second trilogy and the multiple POV.

Maybe there's a tried and true formula that screenwriters will use but I'm curious how RR would have to uniquely handle it?

Edit: Corrected the subreddit name

Where can I find good audiobooks for the first book? Preferably dramatized. I'm asking for a friend so that I can get them into this world

I didnt actually even read the post nor do I care. But holy shit this is definitely mustang with some gold wings. Riiight?

Towards the end of RR Darrow encounters the proctor of Mercury during his raid of Olympus and after some fighting instead of directly dueling him he shoots Mercury with a pulsefist and moves on. Is PB referencing the famous Indiana Jones scene or is it just a coincidence?

I couldnt find any posts of this but still sorry if this has been asked before.

I’ve always loved this interpretation of a Howler in pulse armor and have wanted a RR tattoo for years now. Artist even added a cheeky sling blade!

Honestly just wondering. Everyone seems to like it and I keep seeing it mentioned and I’m looking for more stuff to read since finishing Lightbringer. I glanced at it but it doesn’t seem very similar to red rising so I’m just curious what the connection is

After..... Very painful 2 hours I have completed dark age, and now I will start light bringer, will light bringer bring some light into my life after the darkness of dark age?

I’ve POWERED through this series all year. I’m currently on Lightbringer and I just realized I’ve been reading Sevro’s name wrong. I’ve been reading it as S E R V O. Holy shit.

Buckle up boyos, it's time to get hitched.

First victra's newborn baby, then sefi, then Ephraim, and now Alexander too, and this freaking book is still not finished

This is what goes through my mind when I read Sevro’s full name. I think he is not a Real Madrid fan but who knows
