I vibe coded python script to convert beamer presentation to HTML presentation. and as you can see it's very beautiful and feel proud of this. But I have weird feeling I've done something dumb and maybe already exist somewhere, but I searched and didn't find anything related to what I want. And the script can add moving math symbols in the background. and for tikz figures it compiles the tikz code and save it as SVG and use it in the HTML.

I've been searching for a community dedicated to people who create interactive games in Microsoft PowerPoint, but I've had surprisingly little luck.

I'm a graphic designer who's been using PowerPoint for over 15 years, and recently I've gotten into developing fairly elaborate, interactive game-show experiences using animations, VBA, and other PowerPoint features.

I'd love to connect with other people who enjoy pushing PowerPoint beyond traditional presentations—sharing projects, discussing ideas, troubleshooting challenges, and seeing what others are creating.

I've looked into various Discord servers, Facebook groups, and forums, but most seem to focus on general presentation design, traditional game development, or sharing educational templates. Nothing has really felt like a dedicated community for people who genuinely enjoy making games in PowerPoint.

Does anyone know of an active Discord server, Facebook group, forum, or other community specifically for PowerPoint game creators?

I'd really love to find my people! :)

I have an older Windows 10 computer with Office 2016 on it, which is shared by my organisation for presenting slides. We've got a new Windows 11 computer with M365 on it and Presenter Mode is different. It's only got one slide and the notes. Everybody would prefer to have the reel of slides along the bottom instead of having to open the entire screen of them to switch to a slide.

We only need to be able to see what's coming in a few slides. Is there a configuration or extension to change it back?

How can I fix this??!

Hi,

I have been working freelance for a large company for the past year (they are global but the office I work for is in Hong Kong) and they have just asked me to create 3 separate PPT presentations for them. I have a lot of experience creating PPTs but just not for this company and it has been awhile since I charged for them.

There will be a 2 minute video I need to create and embed in one of them, they are 20 pages each (colours and fonts are set, but I will be creating the design, sourcing and adding photos, etc), and I will also be required to write some of the copy for each one (I have an understanding of the company business so this is something I am able to do). I would love some advice on what I should be charging for this, or what the going rate is for PPT presentations these days? I tend to quote per job as opposed to per hour.

Thank you so much!

So I dont know how to make a ppt.

I have a particular use case.

So lets say we are presenting a strategy for tackling/meeting the target that was given to us for the financial year and we are presenting how we are going to achieve this.

Now there might be multiple teams that might be involved in that or a single team but how do you decide on:

1. The storytelling- as in what all to actually put in the slide.

2. How to actually make the content prettier with all those tables and icons and headers and getting the right dividers and animations and stuff.

I create very bad ppts to the point I just put a table and create a basic storytelling format but I have always wondered how to create those fancy ppts?

Does the company you work at always already has a format ready and you slowly and steadily adapt yourself to it and then keep on building on it?

How did you go about creating your first ppt ever? I am super conscious about this skill and want to learn to improve myself.

I have pictures in my slides that I draw lines on to bring attention to something.

I cannot figure out how to make straight lines with the markers hahaha. Just embarrassing

Gracias.

How do I fix this thing where there are new lines in the middle of words? I want to be able to resize the text box without this happening and words to be kept together.

Is there anyway to download slides from slideshare, in ppt format and i can edit them?

Thank you

Help keep r/PowerPoint from descending into chaos (there's a separate subreddit for that. Of COURSE there is. Because Reddit, right?)

If you have a PowerPoint-related product or service to announce, announce it one of the megathreads pinned to the top of the subreddit. That way your announcement will find an interested audience, won't scroll off into the dark waters of Last Month's Posts, and won't be deleted by the mods because of r/PowerPoint's no advertising rule. If you want to chat about PowerPoint & AI, please use the megathread devoted specifically to that (link below).

I cannot figure out how to do this while presenting a PowerPoint. Please let me know if this is possible, and if so, how to do it. Thank you!

I'm trying to make a rough animation that includes something in the background standing in the shadows, which I made using the soft edges feature. I animated a bit of it before saving and closing it to do something else.

I opened it again and the whole animation is still there, but the background feature is no longer half in the shadows because the soft edges weren't saved for some reason?! All the things I did after making that were saved just fine though. Spend about 10 minutes going frame by frame putting the effect back and saved again, but it didn't save a second time. Did some testing and everything except picture effects is saved just fine. Now I don't know much about coding and bugs and such, but that seems like a VERY strange glitch to be happening...

Trying record my part of a group presentation.

Other group members have done so successfully, they are yet to provide the asked for help though.

Previously recorded instructions by lecturer are not working as the 'record' tab is not present (from what I can tell from searching this is just how the web version is).

I have managed to record on my desktop version but am unable to copy the slides over to the web version/ the group presentation as they are too large.

I have attempted to follow the instructions online re camera permissions etc though this has not helped.

Presently in the web version I can insert the cameo, when clicking 'present' it swaps to the slide show and gives me a preview of the cameo but does not record/there is no option to record.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I made this a while ago and finally decided to share it. I don't know if this is the best sub to share this but it is the best place that I could find that is still alive. I made this fully in powerpointand you can check it out yourself. I didn't lock the code and you're free to look at it or use it with proper credit and a message. For more info and the file itself you can look at my itch.io page: https://piekachu025.itch.io/

Hi guys, I'm in need of taking a scientific paper published in pubmed and making a PowerPoint presentation out of it, just for discussion

I wasn't given that much time, so I'm asking if you know of some A.I. tool that actually does a good job

Thank you so much for your time.

I found this layout online, and I want to make an adjustment to it, I find these interesting and got confused on how to start.

Chatgpt mentions about transparent PNG sitting on the photo and also something got to do with the picture placeholder.

My question is how do i insert a square with fill in picture that have the transparent photo on top of it? I tried to make the placeholder picture send to the back and the flower send to the front, but i always seems to get this, like slide 4

Hey guys!

I just started offering presentation making/editing as a freelancer and thought I’d put it out here. It could be a business/sales/project/report etc presentation.

You can the quote the price that you're comfortable paying for the project (Just be reasonable).

Have a rough idea but don’t know how to turn it into a presentation?

→ Send me your notes, ideas, research, or even a messy document, and I’ll turn it into a structured, polished PPT.

Already have a PPT but it looks boring/outdated/inconsistent?

→ Send it over and I can redesign it while keeping it aligned with your brand colours, fonts, theme and overall visual identity.

Just send me the rough stuff and let’s make it look good.

DM me if you’re interested :)

Help me guys, I couldn't find the morph transition anywhere, am I wrong at something or is this not updated?
