It took over ten years, but I finally have the platinum medal for catching tiny Rattata!!

The Rattata spotlight hour recently definitely helped, plus I’m grateful for those in my local Campfire and Discord groups who traded me a few (so I guess I kinda cheated there and didn’t catch all one thousand).

But in total, I currently have 7184 Rattata caught, out of about 1002k Pokémon caught (kinda funny I passed a million Pokemon caught before getting this medal even if was just barely before).

I finally found the PoGo Plus Plus and bought one for each of my family members. My thing is, could I just use one for everyone to get the sleepy Snorlax? Or do I really need to buy all 4? 😭😭😭

Was the Kyogre at the end of the October pass a guaranteed shiny?

Purified something to see if it would end up being a 4* then forgot to check. Then when I went to transfer, this popped up! I know people have been asking for this for years!

So my son got a Lapras this morning (I think from research, I've never seen one in the wild and go), so I got to share with him the Lapras conservation story. My daughter was there too. The Wonder in their eyes how one kid could single-handedly save a Pokemon species, and remembering my love that story myself, made me think about how amazing it is that I get to pass this down to the next generation. I have loved Pokemon for so many years, I've played all the games, watched all the cartoons, had so much merchandise, and watching my kids get to go through that too is so heartwarming.

In case y'all don't know the lapras myth, I'll give the basics. And red and blue the Pokedex said that due to hunters Lapras was near Extinction and that it was nearly impossible to find a Lapras in red and blue. One kid couldn't live with that, and so he started breeding Lapras with ditto after catching one, and just kept breeding and breeding and releasing them into the wild to save lapras. By Sun and Moon the Pokedex said that "due to conservation efforts," Lapras was now in overabundance.

I just wanted to share a little happy story with y'all. It has been an absolute joy to get my children into Pokemon go, since it's something that we can go out to the park and play together. Of course, we also play Pokemon on the switch, but there's something special about running around to park with my kids catching Pokemon and feeling like a kid again and seeing the joy in their eyes when I get to share little stories like that from when I was younger.

So glad I didnt waste my remote RRP for this, like the idiot who left did, lol. You dont need a full group to take down Palkia, people.

I have a fully maxed, best buddy 100% IV mega mewtwo y who is currently my buddy, why am I seeing stronger ones than my maxed hundo?

Hi everyone, I just started playing again after not playing for 10 years. I realized that one of my pokemons is 4\* while filtering them. What should I do with it? Should I evolve it? To which kind of eevee evolution? Leave it? Trade it? Is this rare or just meh?

I was going to collect dem all before I went to bed on Tuesday night. I went to work on Wednesday and completely forgot to collect the rewards. I was doing other stuff on my free time as well. What an idiot. Did anyone forget? I feel like I am going to keep forgetting to collect them here and there. I hate it.

The gym next to it would have been an all pink/red gym but someone put their Slaking in it so the theme was ruined </3

I used to play pokemon go back in the day and i returned to the game for the love but i had 0 idea about dynamax and stuff so i was just catching some pokemon that i already know off like charmainder and stuff and got myself a hundo, i am happy!

SO often the gyms in my area will be white. This usually only happens overnight 12am - 5am and occurs at least 4-5 times per week. Regardless of which team is already in there.

I just did a lucky trade for a Shiny Galarian Articuno and noticed the person trading it used a master ball on it. It had me thinking how many other trades did the same and discovered I have 4 ‘spent’ master balls in my account and all 7 released (no situation where I needed to use it has occurred yet). Anyone with any weirdly odd flexes on their account?
