I don't know whether this fits or not, but I think this is something that I believe should happen. This year is a big year for the Pokémon franchise since it's 30 years old and the year is almost over. In fact, 2027 will be Kirby's 35th anniversary. That being said, if there's ever a series that could bring new eyes to Pokémon's 30th before the year is through: it's Hot Ones.
Now, I know a lot of people will think I'm crazy, but there is a precedent for this as both Donald Duck and Peter Griffin were on Hot Ones to promote the milestones for their franchises, not to mention Puss in Boots and Venom. As such, it got me wondering, what if Pikachu was on Hot Ones? Granted, seeing a Pikachu eating hot wings and reacting to the sauces would be interesting, and before you ask, they could add a Rotom to act as a translator of sorts. That being said, Pikachu wouldn't be the only one as Pokémon like Meowth, Lucario, and Mewtwo could be on the show as well (Mewtwo more than the other two, as I don't know if cats or dogs can handle spicy food).
Honestly, just a crazy thought that popped into my head.

Stopped by my local skate shop the other day and they had these pokemon decks on the wall lol didn't even know these were a thing
Im also big into collecting cards (mostly vintage) so my pull is hype but Im stuck…
Do I throw trucks on it and ride it.. or keep it sealed and hang it up on the wall in my office?
What would yall do? Has anyone here actually rode one of these yet?

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a few second hand game boy games, and one of them had a save file still running of Pokémon Yellow.
Since a flasher was coming (GBxCart), I thought I could save the data into my computer and share it before I wiped it, hopefully reaching the person that this save belonged to just in case there was sentimental value attached.
I understand that probably the owner will never see this post, but it's worth trying!
The cartridge is in Spanish, and I bought it from CashConverters. If you live here and you sold your cartridge to this company, it might be your save! I ordered it online, so it could have come from any part of the country.
Here are some images for proof that this is real.

So yeah, I know this is futile, but it's worth trying!
If you think you are the owner of this save file feel free to DM me!
(Or I can share a file from some sort of file hosting)

FYI, this is a Repost to the original...
Hey, I was just wondering about what would happen if Pokémon sudden started to just... Hypothetically turn up, later down the line in a century or a while under that... Yeah...
If we were to develop the technology thats present in the Pokémon world, what would you lot think would be one of the best career, either profitably, enjoyable, stability wise because there's a large laundry list of many careers that are already deemed to be the top of the list as they are now, so what would they be like with Pokémon and the technological advancements of the Pokémon world in the mix?
As for an example, in the technological field, of course Electric Type Pokémon would be incredibly useful for generating electricity without worrying about spending additional costs on the amount consumed, but Pokémon such as Metagross and Alakazam would almost guarantee a success in this field, aswell as countless other fields of work, including the medical and architectural development fields... There would also be such uses for Pokémon like Rotom and Revaroom for cases where someone would be into expanding how far technology can go with a Rotom, even pushing oast Rotom Bikes all the way to fully automotive vehicles powered by a Rotom, including several standard cars, motorcycles, scooters, to even planes... Though I don't know how Rotoms would handle the load...
If someone were to own stables or have a career as a horse riding instructor, I can imagine someone owning a good few of the same species, such as Ponyta, Rapidash (Both Kantonian and Galarian forms), Mudsdale... Maybe even Pokémon similar to horses or even close quadrapedal species with hooves, such as Zebstrika, Sawsbuck, Bouffalant, Gogoat... Somehow Wyrdeer...?
SO NOW... Which Pokémon would you lot pick to have in your line of work? If you

Gonna do a daily post where we talk about how we’d change Gyms and their Leaders.
Rules are:
1: Max number of Pokemon depends on their placement. I’ll mention them when the team is brought up.
2: Only use Pokemon from a regional dex of theirs.
3: You can give Pokemon not of their type if you think it fits.
4: You can change the battle type if the games you battle them in supports it I.e. Brock can be double battle in Gen 3 but not Gen 1.
Today, it is the The Tomboyish Mermaid: Misty.
The Gym:
Misty’s Gym has been pretty consistent over the years aside from one time. In HGSS, it changed to having a giant pool in the middle with you just needing to go around the side. That’s honestly the one I’d keep. I just think it looks better than the normal one.
The Team:
Since she is the second leader, the max number of Pokemon she can have is 3.
Her team up until Let’s Go was pretty consistent with Staryu and Starmie. Then in Gen 8, the Staryu got replaced with a Psyduck. I prefer this so I’d use that as base. If I were to add an extra Pokemon, weird choice but I’d choose Omanyte. Mt Moon is next door plus I think it would be kind of cool if she and Brock were given the opposite fossils given their role in the anime. Otherwise, I guess Poliwag or Poliwhirl would be my pick.
So yeah, her team for me would be Psyduck, Omanyte and Starmie.
What about the rest of you?

In the Pokedex order they put the Dragonite line after the three legendary birds which I find weird because of the fact that their legendary Pokemon. The numbers being Zapdos Moltres and Articuno are #144 #145 #146 out of 151. But they made Dratini Dragonair and Dragonite #147 #148 #149 randomly. I've always wondered why they split them up the Region's legendaries being the three legendary Birds and then Mew and Mewtwo with them being #150 and #151

To start, I’m not talking about buying it for $70—it’s been a year since its release, and you can find it for $30.
With that in mind, is it really as bad a game as people say? I don’t buy games new because I know, objectively, that they aren’t worth the price, and I want to send a message to The Pokémon Company.
But setting that aside—people claimed Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were horrible, yet I actually had a pretty good time with them.
I’m just looking for something that lets me play for 20 or 30 minutes a day to unwind, catch some Pokémon, stay entertained, and take my mind off my responsibilities for a bit.

I'm wanting to play them in release order, bc i went years without playing games from the franchise (the last time I played was Sword in 2021). , but I remember finishing Red years ago and the game was... well... bad, very clunky, slow , and don't get me wrong, I'm not new to the Pokémon game universe, but I admit that these are very difficult to have fun playing. So, should I play these or go straight to FR/LG and then Crystal? Or the "original ones"?
EDIT: Thank you guys, im going to start my journey in Leaf Green version, i'll play the Yellow version after i complete all games before Sword (excluding remakes), thank you for the messages :P

I love the detail of Zeraora's pupils retracting when it's pissed off at you and not when it's using its powers.

I get that Pokemon Scarlet/Violet get a lot of (well deserved) hate for a lot of the issues such as poor visuals. But I feel like there are also a lot of good things that I hope they continue with the future games. Here are some things I really liked:
you're not handed a legendary pokemon pre elite 4 (atleast not one you can battle with yet). the only legendaries pre e4 are the ruinous ones that you have to go out of your way to catch.
catching pokemon and rounding up a competitive team is far easier now with how easy pokemon are to track down and catch, mints etc.
moves are generally more accessible. abundant tms and easy move relearning. no annoying hms
no more annoying grass encounters. i dont miss having to face check every bush to find out what pokemon live there or having to manage repels etc. pokemon in the overworld seem great and fit well in the habitat generally.
pretty good dlc (although there is no satisfying postgame loop like a battle tower)
good double battles. indigo disk dlc was really fun for someone who likes vgc/doubles. seeing the main trainers use well put together teams feel like a refreshing change.
what things do you folks like the most in the new games?

I need some Feedback on this Steel Mono Type team. This team would have to play against a ice,Figthing, Fire, Dark, Ghost and Rock Mono team with tera allowed. Should i just Switch into a diffrent type since Terra is allowed or can i still stay in steel without completly losing any chance? Thank you in advance (I would also love to hear Thougths on the Team in Gernerall with coverage etc.)

Now hear me out on this. Pokémon Centers have always been felt as the "hospitals" of the pokémon universe, and in a certain sense they are. However, they ALSO give sanitary services for poket monsters, as shown many times in the anime (they have like a back door that leads to many hospital rooms), that's for example where they cure pokémon when they're actually injured during battles. But since we know that when pokémon fall during fights they're not actually dead but just fainted, I can confidently say that that's just an energies reason and they're simply too tired to still fight. This means that the device from the games (which also appeared in the anime) that heals pokémon isn't curing their injureas, but is instead giving them energy back to fight again. Though pokémon, just like every other living creature, can also feel tired because of hunger or lack of sleep. With this said, it may happen that trainers bring their pokémon to the pokémon center because they're tired in order to give them energies (probably the device has some fantastic-science properties to stimulate the nervous system or something, I'm not a physician or a doctor). Though, if your pokémon is tired because of the other two reasons listed before, it would be forced to get back up without having received a healthy amount of sleep or food. Yes, it may be able to battle again, but repeated usage of pokémon centers ignoring the natural needs of your pokémon may probably result in sickness or even death. It's like not sleeping for a week straight just because you keep drinking liter of coffee.
