It was an honor to be invited to this as it was my second time spinning fire, and I got gifted these very poi at the end of the night. I’ve never been so patient for something I was so excited for. I continue to hold fire in even higher reverence. I feel like I earned this the right way c:

I love poi. As I get older my hEDS has completely stopped me from being physical.. does anyone else suffer with this or something similar and have any tips for getting back into poi and being able to stay consistent? I get insane migraines/pain for a month from even a small flow sesh. 💖 thank you in advance!

Ok, feeling brave thanks to you guys. Here is a grainy video of an after work play sesh with 1,2 and at times 3 poi.

Any tips and tricks for posting videos is appreciated. Thank you so much ❤️

Edit: I did it! Thanks guys❤️

having a lot of fun making poi recently

Does anyone out there spin fire in the Perthshire area of Scotland? Looking for a poi bud to learn with/from.

Here's a sequence that I like a bunch feat. Lots of poi face and a pretty nice save 😅

🎶 Mo Vibez - A Milli Flip

A friend gets us in a circle for this, it winds up looking pretty cool. 🤘

Thank you god for making my learning curve on this prop so steep.

Instrumental by me lol

Wanted to show off some of the experimental shizz I’ve been working on such as:
• split time tosses and contact rolls
• back of the hand contact rolls
• behind the back isolations, antibirds, & tosses

As always, proud of myself & my flow💅✨

hi! so as this says i’m new to poi. i’ve only been learning for about a month but i am struggling. i’m doing the learn poi in 50 days with drex and i’m only on like day 10 lol please…what helped you all level up in your poi journeys!? what videos/tips/tricks really helped you improve and learn? i don’t really have anyone that can show me in person so this subreddit is the best i’ve got :/

Been spinning a lil over a month and I was able to lock down both sides to this trick. First time I’ve tried speeding up the spinning too! Sharing some love for the glowstringing side of things too cause some of us like to spin FAST 😂

Seems like the 3 beat weave gets some slack for being basic BUT this broke my brain up until two days ago lol. Super pumped.

Any tips to the reverse weave next? I wanna be able to freely flow across my body and that’s the next step 😝. (I was messing around and trying to visualize the process in reverse but it’s a bit too complicated to imagine still)

Spent a day in Vancouver travelling around finding fun spots to spin!

Finally got my first set of big ass monkey fists and they feel so special.

Shout out to FlowOnFire for the poi!!!

Spinning fire just feels out of this world, the whooshing sounds of fire surrounding you are almost therapeutic.

I think I found my thing and I’m never gonna stop spinning poi.

Poi specs:

*3.75” monkey fists
*27.5 inch overall length of 11 mm super static k tethers
*led sphere knobs with UltraPoi chips

Fire is fiire

So I hadn't spun in YEARS, mostly because I've no fire poi community up here in Avon/Vail. But I recently visited home in San Diego and got all kindsa hyper fixated with poi again (I got some glow poi since I don't need a safety for it).

However I discovered that my previously pretty goddamn tight planes are fucked after I broke my left humerus. These are weird muscles, anybody got rehab tips?

hey folks! first time posting on this sub

i started my poi journey around 3 months ago, i already had contact with other sort of juggling toys before🌀🌀🌀 poi is something else, loving this journey and, now, im struggling with the windwill… but i think that im rly close to learn it!🤣

I haven’t been to a festival in years because life
But I’m going this weekend and want to carry my poi most comfortably. How do you carry your poi on your person? Sometimes, I clip the drawstring bag to my belt but it’s so clunky and I worry about the drawstring breaking. I usually do not carry a backpack at festivals. Looking for advice thanks :-)
