does anyone else get genuine separation anxiety from being away from a stuffed animal, and how do you deal with it? i have a micro frog version of my frog for my purse, but its not the same thing :(

hi friends!! I accidentally spilled melted butter all over my favoritest plushie of all time, and he has a voice box that still works after all these years. it's completely soaked into him and it's ALL OVER. please help- how can I get this out !! he's so greasy and smells so strongly of butter now :(

(I took butter with me camping, it melted in the car and I didn't realize it was leaking until it was too late. also, I know he's "ugly," but please don't make fun of him, he's really special to me.)

EDIT: does anyone know of some plushie doctors who specialize in electronic toys? he's got a decent amount of wiring in him, and i called the only plushie doctor i know of but she can't help bc of the wiring. I can't bear the thought of not being able to hold him when I need him again, and I also can't bear the thought of sacrificing his voice box (though, if it comes down to it, i am willing to sacrifice his sonic screwdriver [the green thing] lighting up, which it also does.) he's literally the most sentimental object to me that i own. I'll do whatever it takes to save him !!

On a business trip headed home and my bag got pulled. Asked if I had "cake" in my bag and suddenly thought about my plush.

I've had to have my stuff swabbed before but it's never tested positive for anything, ive also flown with him multiple times.

They swab him and he tests positive for explosives???

So now all my stuffs getting taken out. Shoes off. Questions asked. Patted down.

They bring out the bomb guy and he's like "so I have to test what's inside of him"... Thankfully he was very nice about it, he opened on seam on his butt, and tested. And now all good.

Of course everyone had to get involved bc something was "happening". But y'all, lol. 40 min later because a 30 year old with a plushie is just trying to get home. I feel so bad if this had happened to someone younger who might not have understood what was happening.

No pic of Craigs new butt tuck, but he's already all sewn up bc I always carry a little mending kit with me.

Anyone else had this issue with a Warmie or weighted plush? I checked online and they aren't not allowed to fly, and the agents said they will have to test him again and to keep him pulled out of my bag for future travel.

Tdlr: Craig and me are on a watchlist now.

I've had a lion plushie since I was little but he's quite raggedy now since i sleep with him every night. The tag's come off and everything, and I was thinking of trying to see what he would've looked like brand new. Problem is that I can't find it anywhere online :(

He's probably from a brand from the 2000s, the early 2010s at the latest

This is Louis, I’ve had him since I was a toddler and he’s been part of my life forever now. I recently got curious about finding out where he’s from, what brand makes him, and if they still produce them.

Despite getting him before the age of six I do still remember where we got him, which was oddly enough, a claw machine at a chinese buffet. I assume it was just a ton of cheap toys from different brands and he’s what he happened to get, so I’m not sure if knowing that it was a claw machine prize helps.

He has a tag but it’s completely blank with nothing on it, and I don’t recall him ever having another one. If anyone out there may know where he’s from or recognize him, I would love to know! Louis is very important to me and a member of my family, and especially recently as I’ve been going through numerous surgeries he’s been here for me a lot. I love him dearly and I am eager to see if anyone has a find!

I am trying to find a replacement for a lost childhood stuffed animal. I’m almost positive it was part of the Itsy Bitsies collection from the early 2000s (sometime between 2000 and 2010) but I’m having trouble finding proof of its existence.

I have an Itsy Bitsy elephant that I can’t find evidence of online so it wouldn’t shock me if the giraffe also existed and is just poorly documented

I found this picture on pinterest, and I fell in love with this plushie, and I really want to know where I can get this exact type. I looked in the comments of the post I saw, and no one else knew what brand it was from, either, so I really hope any of you guys know where I could possibly get this one (I want this specific type, if that makes sense. I found this adorable little pink baby at the thrift store today. Unfortunately she has no tags at all. I was wondering if anyone possibly knows what brand shes from or has seen similar ones online. She seems to be vintage and maybe an asian brand. I also just wanted to share her with everyone here because I thought she was very adorable and unique. Im not sure what kind of animal shes supposed to be either.

In case you wondering what the red is around her neck, it's a ribbon I got off of a chocolate Lindt hollow bunny, pretty much like a ribbon necklace.
