I think we should see more diversity in mushrooms.

Like on trees Reishi could spawn on trees in snow rather than bee hives which don’t spawn on snow trees afaik Stumps might have a chance to harvest honey mushrooms when picked. This would give a way to gather shrooms in snow or desert biome. Forest and jungle would be spawn any shroom including the traditional red ones.

Though adding a food source to snow does make it less treachorous so sort of mixed on that.

But mushrooms are isolated to two biomes but required for like what, half of food recipes?

Growing them might not make sense unless it involved the composter somehow.

I like the idea of this and want to hear from people who play the game more than me (basically none). This would be just adding a new way to use notes by placing them on a surface. They do not decay. You would have to make sure it can't block buildings and there is a radius around them where you can't place another note to prevent griefing.

I can just picture a note being left on someone's door with a threat. A final note on a TC explaining the grievances of a team that left their base to decay. Warnings of a trap base down the road. A clan marking their territory by placing notes on raided bases like a calling card. And of course weird ass notes that people have left scattered around their base to mess with their teammates.

What do you think?

So recently since the new force, after playing normaly for some time my game will suddently drop to 1or 4 fps, my scripts will start taking very long 4000ms, which i think cause my gpu and cpu to stop working (gpu usage drop from 90% to 1%, same for cpu) and may be the cause of the drop of fps during the bug the usage of my components will rize when the scripts times become normal for 1 frame, so its not a constant freeze.

So my question is how can i fix this.

also when i restart the game, the bug will still be on and when restart my pc the bug will come maybe after 5 min. The bug takes longer to appear when i dont use my pc for some time. Temps are fine so prob not that. I can use my pc fine outside of rust so only a rust problem.

i have a gtx 1650, a ryzen 3600x, 32gb of ddr4

1. It was raided before and TC was broken and I was able to repair it with a hammer. After repair it still had a keylock, so it was fully secure.

2. Couple days later I was raided again and now they managed to put their own TC and grief my base. How is that possible? Can anyone explain? This is a bug.

I average 140+ fps on a laptop 9955hx cpu 32gb ram and a 5070 laptop gpu ( 8gb vram ), 1tb ssd storage. ddr5. I close the map after opening, and for about 5-6 seconds I average. from 140 to 89

I have played this wipe solo for 6 hours, i have collected this amount of scrap without recycling (plus stuff researched) yet i only have 1 blueprint fragments. This can’t go on.

I just did a labs run at almost 2 in the morning and there’s 3 guys holding it with pump still, i have EVERYTHING expect for frags.

The other night I was playing rust and it worked just fine. 2 nights later I go to load into a server and it crashes everytime now when it reaches “cleaning up”. Pops up a unity error message but can’t quite see what it says because it pops up and goes away so quick along with the game closing out with it. I have checked the integrity of the files on steam. Reinstalled. Factory reset pc even. Made sure drivers were up to date and all. Yet it still does the same thing when trying to join any server.

Every week I have some new gimmick to learn. A guy that played rust 2 months ago and logs in again has no idea wtf is going on. We all love new content but this is a mess.

Apartment complex is truly a waste of space in every map and if FP nuked that monument no one would notice. Now we have to fix parts of the map for some reason? I can't believe it's possible to track how these changes affect the game when you keep changing it every week/month, it's not possible and the game is a huge mess right now.

BP frags still being around is wild and it's getting disrespectful for a big portion of the player base. The entire "bp frag for sulfur" meta is boring AF.

I don't know if there's less people playing or more people playing, these changes feel sloppy and rushed.

I will still be playing and try new stuff but there's no way in hell I'll be fixing helipads or a lighthouse.

For past 4 hours I'm visiting empty Train Yard, Water Treatment and Radtown. It's always looted.

Please remove blue card drop from fish, it is literally worth less than green card. It will remove all stupid snowball, 2 hours into wipe and there are already shops with blue cards

Can we get the weapon light placement on the not-Glock moved back an inch or two? It's getting separation anxiety.

Title: What is the reason you log off and call a wipe done. Raided early? Have a bad start to the wipe? Build in a wrong location and get surrounded by door campers? Just max out on loot so you're not having fun anymore.

While I like the idea of slowing progression, I don't like that players don't get anything for helping repair Air Wolf unless they complete the repairs. Even then, it's the opportunity to be first to buy from it. It feels like the server is relying on a zerg that can really exploit Air Wolf to do it.

My suggestion:
Helping to repair Air Wolf should provide dividends in the form of a discount on anything Air Wolf (or maybe also other shops at Bandit Camp) sells for the remainder of the wipe. The discount should scale with how much you helped repair.

The final discount amount would have to be tested and adjusted, but my first thought is there would be a total of a 66% discount pool available. So if you managed to repair half the Air Wolf, you would get a 33% discount from then on.

Ideally, I'd like to see it encourage all/more players to participate in the repair process, even if they can't afford to donate a substantial amount. So maybe there is a minimum discount of 5 or 10% (not deducted from the pool) for anyone who repairs 1% of Air Wolf, and any repairs beyond that get a relative portion of the discount pool.

This idea could be applied to the upcoming Deep Sea/Lighthouse change, giving players a discount at the Floating City.

Hey so I'm 35, new to rust as far as it goes. Think I'm about at 1K. When winter rolls around I have enough free time to game and then I stop playing in the spring.

The thing is the racism is so bad I'm not sure I can come back this winter. I can go a calandar year in RL without hearing the "N word". It's intrusively present within the game.

Also once a server I was on chanted "Jew" repeatedly for a solid 5 minutes. Everyone in the chat. Kind of sums up a portion of the community.

I know I could mute mics but somewhat ironically, the player interactions are some of the best part of the game for me.

Anyways, just trying to wrap my head around if I want to expose myself to this for another season.

Amazing visual concept, turned out to be a flub. Loot is terrible, and the radiation is annoying. The event should not be player triggered but random on the map. To actually activate the Satellite is a major pain in the ass.

I was playing missile silo on a PVE and got my shit rocked and lost an LR 300, M92, and my only red keycard. I also lost my motorcycle and 300+ lowgrade fuel for it. I really don't see a point in still playing that server cuz I'm like half restarting since I still have the house but I have no good guns. Should I just quit the server and go play another or what?

its honestly driving me crazy, cant have dlss on for loading into servers, ok, now the game started crashing when enabling it when already loaded in, verified game files, reinstalled drivers, switched dlss versions etc.

now im back to the native dlss version of rust and while more reliable still crashes sometimes, while giving me worse fps than forced dlss 4 and looking noticably worse

any tips or is that just a me problem

Let me make versions of electrical and industrial components out of HQM so they don’t get blown up in every raid. Sick of rebuilding them 3 times per wipe
