Nothing service center refuses to repair my nothing phone 2
The phone 2 randomly shuts down or restarts, especially when it is moved suddenly.
This might point to a loose internal connection of battery. The official nothing service in Chennai, india didn't even open my phone or explain what the issue was and straight up said i can only apply for a newer phone for 28k INR(roughly 80% of what I paid for the original phone).
They didn't even try any factory resets or safe mode to double check.
They simply said we don't get spare for this phone and this is the only option which to me is unfair.
The current phone market is fucked up for me to upgrade and i am not in a good financial situation to do so too.
They atleast could've offered an upgrade offer, which they didn't.
What should I do?

buying a used ip for cheap to use airtags?
sorry stupid question. do you need a sim to use airtags?
wanting to use some airtags on some things to have some tracking of expensive equipment.
friend wants to sell me his ip11 promax for cheap. has 70% battery health
I realize they dont have oem batteries anymore. the phone would stay in a charger to be in stanby mode and im guessing thats not the most healthy thing for it? can you buy an aftermarket battery that can give ok power needs?
I dont plan to use it for anything other then with airtags. keep the phone on for standby if need be
some insight or opinion to this plan please?

Samsung A24 won't hold charge.
I'm not extremely technologically literate, at least not with phones. It's running Android, and it was working normally. The battery died, I plugged it in, and it showed the charging symbol for a few seconds before shutting off.
I tried to turn it on, and it flashed the home screen. The battery level said 0%, and it turned off immediately after. I was able to boot it into recovery mode once, and I chose "Reboot system now". Since that point, I've either been booting it incorrectly, or recovery mode doesn't work anymore.
I've tried charging with different cables, wireless charging, and I've cleaned out the port with a toothpick. I'm honestly not sure what the problem even is. I dropped it in water a while ago, but when it dried it charged fine. If anyone thinks they can help, any advice would be appreciated.

2023 Android shuts off after small impacts and vibrations
I have a 2023 Samsung Galaxy A34 that shuts off / restarts after small impacts and vibrations, and sometimes without them. Battery percentage varies by a lot after restarts.
The tech I took it to opened the device and found that the battery adhesive wasn't holding the battery. Connector was still connected and was not loose though.
In a charging test, it was pulling around 9V 0.2A = 1.8W. Tech suspected it was a battery problem and changed the battery.
At first the problem seemed to be gone. But after doing mild drop tests, phone closed off again was charging at a very slow rate again.
The tech told me that it is likely due to a faulty charging integrated circuit. My question is, could a charging IC cause this type of problem or should I take it to some place else before wasting more money?
Any insight is appreciated, thanks.

iPhone 4 won't turn on after sitting unused for years — damaged 30-pin connector?
Hi everyone,
I recently found my old iPhone 4, which had been sitting unused for years, and I'm trying to figure out whether I can bring it back to life.
Here's what I've tried and noticed:
- Left it connected to a charger for 24 hours, but nothing happened.
- The screen stays completely black, and the phone doesn't seem to heat up.
- Tried a force restart by holding Power + Home, but got no response.
- Connected it to a Windows laptop, but Windows didn't detect anything.
- I noticed some greenish residue around the 30-pin charging port.
- Two of the 30 pins appear to be damaged.
- When I press and release the back of the phone, I hear a sound like something is unsticking or shifting, although nothing visibly separates or bulges.
I have stopped charging and pressing the phone because I'm concerned about the damaged connector and possible battery issues.
What do you think is most likely causing the problem? Could a damaged 30-pin connector explain why it won't charge or get detected by a computer, or is the battery also likely dead after sitting unused for years?
Would replacing the battery and/or charging connector be a reasonable first step, or could this indicate a motherboard issue?
Unfortunately, I can't provide a photo of the connector right now.
Thanks for any advice!

iPhone 6
galleryGot this absolutely adorable iPhone 6 from eBay for $15 but seller didn’t tell me it had such issues, no worries tho.
I got it with a software bug that it actually pulled through so I assume it’s not iCloud locked as it restored perfectly ect. The touchscreen is broken and needs to be replaced but as the pictures show the frame is slightly bent unfortunately. This phone still has so much life to it and I really can’t be throwing money away but I want it to live on, what’s the chances someone will actually fix this if I resell it I really DONT want it to go for parts this little ass kicker can live on.

S24 Ultra microphone picking up the sound of my hands???
Hey everyone,
I recently replaced the USB-C charging port (the whole piece, with the mic and the anthena) on my Galaxy S24 Ultra. The charging works fine now, but I’ve run into a weird issue with video recording: the microphone picks up the sound of my hands touching or moving against the phone frame extremely loudly, almost drowning out the actual audio.
It sounds like handling noise and chassis vibrations are transferring directly into the microphone.
Has anyone encountered this after a port repair, and is there a specific fix or something I need to check? Thanks!

White line appeared in S21 FE suddenly after 3 years of free screen replacement window (3 years 8 days to be exact). What to do?
So what happened the other day, my phone was kept overnight as usual while a software update was installing. A white line appeared on my Samsung S21 FE when I checked the phone in the morning. I called customer care; they initially said that since the warranty expired just eight days ago, they could talk to their superiors. However, when I went to the authorized Samsung service center (Sri Ventures, Indiranagar, Bangalore) today, they denied the request, citing company policy. Must the consumer pay the price for an issue caused by the company's hardware defect and incompetence? What should I do next?

iPhone 15 Pro Max Camera replacement query. Read Below
galleryI had to replace the assembly and sacrifice Face ID but the replacement came with an extension/adapter flex cable, should it be included in the repair. It came on it but fell off very easily and made the fit of the camera not flush as it does without it. Additionally the packaging states update or restore but currently on the latest software so should I backup and restore via computer for this repair to be successful? Any response is much appreciated

Motorola Edge issues
I was on my phone earlier and went to switch to a different app, my phone froze and when I tried to force reset it, my phone didn't turn on and hasn't turned on since. I've tried charging it and leaving it with nothing working.
Just wondering if this is an issue that will fix itself or something serious.

Is my Haptic Vibration broken?
So my phone fell to the floor and now whenever I type it sounds weird, like a buzz. When I set my Touch Vibration from Medium to Strong it sounds...softer? Softer than both Medium and Low. Right now I changed the millisecond duration to 8 ms but now it peaks and crunches.

Voicemail issues
galleryHey guys. I have an s25 ultra and for as long as ive had the phone my voicemail has been acting up.
Originally I wouldnt get any voicemail at all and after about 5 rounds on the phone with Verizon I only get about 1/4 of my voicemails in my inbox.
I can see in my call log that someone left a message but it doesnt show any new messages in my visual voicemail.
Is it a compatibility issue with my phone model or is there some other technical fix?
